Start/sit methodology
The optimizer compares players on a shared scoring scale for the selected week. The projection drives the rank, and the reasoning line states what went into each number.
- Projection: expected fantasy points for the selected sport and week.
- Rank: highest projection first.
- No floor or ceiling. We publish a point projection, not an interval. A range built by multiplying that projection would be invented rather than measured.

Can I compare more than two players?
Yes. The tool accepts two-player decisions and larger bench decisions, then ranks every player using the same projections.
Does this guarantee a lineup outcome?
No. It is an analytics tool for comparing point projections, matchup inputs, and scoring settings. Injuries, depth chart changes, and late scratches still matter.
