How the NFL fantasy model scores decisions

Every tool starts with player-level projections, then translates those stats into the scoring format you choose. Start/sit ranks the next lineup decision, trade analyzer sums rest-of-season value, rankings group the same projection set by position, and imports apply your league settings before the numbers are shown.

NFL fantasy FAQ

Is the NFL fantasy suite really free to use?

Yes. Start/sit, trade analyzer, waiver wire, weekly position rankings (QB/RB/WR/TE/K/DST), lineup optimizer, and the auction draft + dynasty rookie sheets all work without a signup. Importing a Sleeper league requires creating a free account.

What scoring formats are supported?

PPR, half-PPR, standard, TE-premium, and superflex are all built in. When you import a Sleeper league we read your custom scoring settings directly so PPR coefficients, bonus thresholds, and lineup slots all match.

Where do the projections come from?

Same player projection model that powers our +EV DFS picks and player props — fantasy points are just the same raw stat projections (passing yards, rushing yards, receptions, etc.) run through your league's scoring formula.

Why are some early-season weeks empty?

Until preseason data lands (mid-August), our model has no current-season game logs to learn from. We fall back to last season's rolling-5-game averages — useful for ROS estimates but not for week-1 specifics. Projections sharpen each week as real data accumulates.
