Updated Sep 7, 2026 · Week 1 board.
A prop line is not a total, and a total cannot fill in for one
This page used to build a stand-in for a player prop out of a game total. A game total is one number for both teams' combined score. It has no idea which player touches the ball. Two guys on the same team, in the same game, under the same total, can carry completely different prop lines.
What does know the difference is our props board, and it carries 212 real lines across 17 stat types.
What our props board actually contains
Sorted by stat type, all 212 of them:
| Stat type | Number of lines |
|---|---|
| Receiving yards | 28 |
| Receptions | 28 |
| Longest reception | 28 |
| Rush + receiving yards | 16 |
| Sacks | 15 |
| Rushing attempts | 13 |
| Rushing yards | 13 |
| Longest rush | 11 |
| Field goals made | 8 |
| Kicking points | 8 |
| Extra points made | 8 |
| Passing yards | 6 |
| Passing attempts | 6 |
| Interceptions | 6 |
| Longest completion | 6 |
| Passing touchdowns | 6 |
| Completions | 6 |
Every one of those 212 lines comes from Underdog. Not one of them carries a PrizePicks number. So when you see the word consensus attached to this board, it means Underdog agreeing with Underdog. There is no second book to disagree, so the gap you would normally measure comes back empty on all 212 lines.
We do keep 172 PrizePicks lines off to the side. Those were pulled 2026-06-03, which is a June price, and I am not blending a June price into a September read.
The real number that does exist: fantasy points, not stat lines
What the board carries instead is one weekly figure per player. CeeDee Lamb projects 17.25 points, which puts him 5th among receivers. That is the entire entry on him. A number and a place in line, and nothing underneath either one.
Meanwhile the props board lists four separate stat lines on the same man, and one blended total cannot tell you which of the four to price.
| Stat type | Line |
|---|---|
| Receiving yards | 76.5 |
| Rush + receiving yards | 72.5 |
| Receptions | 6.5 |
| Longest reception | 24.5 |
Try that arithmetic yourself and watch it come apart in your hands. Lamb's 17.25 points is somehow supposed to tell you whether the number to price is 76.5 receiving yards, or 72.5 rush-plus-receiving yards, or 6.5 receptions, or a 24.5-yard longest reception. It cannot. Fantasy points are yards plus receptions plus touchdowns, already stirred together.
Nobody unmixes that back into a single ingredient without a model built for that exact stat, and no such model exists here yet.
What it would take to price a prop honestly
Pricing a prop honestly takes three pieces. You need a probability for the exact stat the line names, not an adjacent stat and not a fantasy-point blend. You need the current price turned into an implied probability (what the price says the chance is). Then you need the distance between those two, with the arithmetic shown to you.
We hand you the middle piece clean: a real current line on 212 player-and-stat combinations. The first piece we do not have. Until we do, the honest expected-value statement is no number yet, and our stake-sizing tool at /desk/tools/ev is only ever as good as the probability you feed it.
What can be read from the board today, honestly
You can still read this board. You just cannot price it. Jaxson Dart's passing-yard line sits at 213.5. Dak Prescott's sits at 260.5, Patrick Mahomes' (Questionable on the injury board) at 229.5, Kirk Cousins' at 215.5.
On the ground, Cam Skattebo is at 49.5 rushing yards and Javonte Williams is at 73.5. Maxx Crosby's sack line is 0.75. Put any of those against last season's production or against an injury report and you have formed a private view, which is a real thing to own. Call that view an edge and you have made a claim you cannot show the arithmetic for.
I would rather hand you the line than a number I invented.
The Receipts Drawer
The drawer holds 212 real prop lines, one book standing behind every one of them, and no per-stat probability anywhere in the house. What changes that is somebody building a model that prices receiving yards as receiving yards, and you will see it the day our expected-value tool returns a number on a prop instead of a blank. So tonight, at the table: read the line, take your own view off last season and the injury report, and refuse to let a fantasy average pretend it priced the prop for you.
The live prop numbers themselves sit on /player-props?sport=nfl. The board figure I quoted sits on /fantasy/nfl/rankings, our published picks board is /picks/nfl, and the stake-sizing math lives on /desk/tools/ev. Watch whether a per-stat model shows up before you point that tool at a prop.
