How player props work

Player props are bets on an individual player's performance, such as passing yards, points or shots. Start with the player, the statistic and the posted line, then compare the available sportsbook prices. An over needs the settled result above the line; an under needs it below.

On Shark Snip, filter the available props by sport, player, market or sportsbook. Compare the listed line with a Sharkai projection when one is shown, and check the update time before using a quote. Player availability and role changes deserve a fresh look before the game. Read the sportsbook's participation and settlement rules, especially when a player leaves early or does not play.

What is a player prop bet?

A player prop concerns an individual player's performance rather than the final game score. The market names the player and the statistic or event being measured. Read its conditions carefully, including which period counts and what happens if the player does not participate.

What does over or under mean in player props?

Over means the settled statistic must finish above the posted line; under means it must finish below. Check the exact number and the covered period. If the result equals a whole-number line, the sportsbook's push rules determine settlement.

How do I compare player prop odds?

Compare the same player, statistic, period and line before comparing prices. A different threshold changes the bet even when the player's name matches. Check the quoted update time and confirm the current offer at the sportsbook before making a decision.

Why is a player prop missing?

Check the selected sport, player, market and sportsbook filters first. If no props show, clear the filters or try again later. A prop that is not listed is not a pick.
