College football is the best, and today was the best day of college football, not of the year, maybe of the last five years. It was a fricking phenomenal day. Capped off, I'm watching thousands of Mormons yelling and jumping inside Lavelle-Edwards Stadium, I believe that's what it's called. Just going crazy as they beat Notre Dame 28-24, number two falls, number three tried to fall, number one fell, everybody falls around here in college football. And far be it from me to say anything about the 2014 playoff, but it is ironic, I don't want to get into that tonight, but it is ironic that maybe the most chaotic day we've had in 20 years happens, maybe one of the most chaotic days ever happens after we had all the discourse about that this week. Whatever your thoughts about it, you can put that to the side, whether you're against me, I'm against you, who's against who, doesn't matter. We talked about it all week and now we get one of the most chaotic days ever. I'm watching my third or fourth field storm of the day. Alabama goes down in Knoxville, Tennessee. Georgia goes down to the Auburn Tigers. BYU beats Notre Dame. Ohio State walks into Indiana, beats the defending national champions. Over and over and over and only Miami survives. Miami wins an overtime game and maybe they shouldn't have survived. Maybe they got a gift from the refs, a gift from the gods, maybe Florida State got screwed multiple times. Liam Blutman, come on in here. Bathe in this college football watch party that we have. It's just a special day at college football and I think you hit the nail on the head. Is it great irony that this happens as they try and expand the sport, but let's put that to the side. They could do whatever they want to try and demeaning, is the word I'll use, this sport, devalue it. We're going to watch, we're sickos, we're watching every snap and we're watching this theater play out snap by snap, instant classic moment by instant classic moment. Brandon Walker, like 12 hours ago, Nick Marsh was out of the bounce like this. It's crazy. It's crazy. Just a day that I will always remember, a day that you've just got good stuff from the very beginning, a day that again, what a scene in Provo, Utah. Look at, I'm looking at the top 10 right now. Number one, lost. Number two, lost. Number three, won luckily. Number four, won because they played number five. Number five, lost. Number six, lost. Number seven, lost. Number eight, just beat number two. Number nine, won easily. Number 10, won easily. But the top eight was fucking chaos. And it was amazing. And we knew we had six ranked matchups coming in this week. And we knew we had potential. But how often do you look at a slate and say, my God, this is going to be great. And then it turns out to be nothing. But Indiana, Ohio State was like this perfect mixture of ugly, gritty, big 10, crazy things happening. And then the 230 window was this chaotic collapsing of the top of the SEC. The SEC was like a volcano just collapsing under itself. And now in the night slate, you had Florida State and Miami, you have BYU, you know what I mean? Nerd Aim finally has to play for the first time this season. They go on the road, they get beat. Woo hoo hoo! I mean, I'm just telling you, I'm just telling you, if you don't have goosebumps, if you don't love this shit, get the fuck out. This is amazing. We argue about it, we yell about it, we scream about it, we call each other names about it. This is the reason why. It just gets in your veins and it just delivers to the point that tonight delivered and was so unbelievable. And I want to slow down. I want to slow down and I want to go back to Ohio State, Indiana, because I wrote that one down first. I thought that was going to be the biggest game. I think we got to start right here. I think we got to start with BYU. First of all, let me ask this question. Who's number one tomorrow? Like it's Miami, right? Or does BYU jump them? Like the BYU can't be number one. I know! I know! Who's number one? It has to be Miami, I think. So Miami 1B, is Miami 1BYU too? I'm going to let the great voters at the AP figure this out. Legitimately, I think there's a reason to vote BYU number one. There's a reason to vote Miami number one. Somebody's got to figure out tomorrow what they value in college football or what it means to them. Because you're going to have a top 10 tomorrow. I don't know what it's going to look like. I haven't sat down and said, who are my top 10 teams? I'm going to do that after the show. But it could be, who the fuck knows? How far is George supposed to fall? George has lost his three touchdown favorites. I don't know. I don't know. What is your top 10 going to be? We might have to work through it later. So let's start there. Let's start there. First of all, I would like to say something, because this is important for the show. And Bloodman, bring your energy down real quick. Unfortunately, I feel it is my responsibility to announce to the audience that tonight in Provo, Utah, we lost Happy Frank. This show was the home of Happy Frank Fleming. And every Monday night, we got voicemails from Frank Fleming. And every Monday night, we smiled because Frank Fleming was happy. But Frank Fleming is a Notre Dame fan. And he just watched his team once again fall short, the second they're asked to go up against a team who can fight back. We've lost Frank Fleming. But we've gained another reason and way to make fun of Notre Dame. We've gained another reason to point at them and poke at them and say every single time, Marcus Freeman, this team, recently, last year, you had a two-game schedule. You went 0-2 and then you cried about it. You took your ball and went home. And this year, I thought you were going to go 11-1 or 12-0. I thought you were going to go out there and assert your dominance. And this defense, all you've talked about is this defense and Leonard Moore and this great defense. And BYU just kind of shredded you all night. There was a period in the third and fourth quarter where Notre Dame's defense was pretty good. But otherwise, BYU had no problem scoring. Prepare Bachmeier with one of the great individual performances you'll ever see. A couple of rushing touchdowns, a receiving touchdown, a throwing touchdown, including the game-winning passing touchdown with about two minutes left. But Notre Dame, Liam, every single time, every time with Notre Dame, they figure out a way not to win this game. I don't know. I'm at a loss for words. They're 10 and a half point favorites. We all just kind of expected them to walk into Provo, which is such a dangerous place to play and assert themselves and win. And that dominant defense gets shred by Bear Mokhmire. And we're talking all week like Bear Mokhmire, 17 and two in his BYU career. Unbelievable. He's now 18 and two. How many big wins? He got that signature with victory. And this is all BYU continues to do. It doesn't matter who they play. It doesn't matter if they're playing one of the best teams in the country, if they're playing a male, back big 12 team, they seem to find themselves in tight buck clenching fourth quarters. And Kalei Tsutaki seems to every time find a way to uplift them and find the win. They are probably incredible up in Provo. It's crazy. Well, he's not just 18 and two, but this time I feel like he's won some games, especially recently, he won a game throwing for 60 yards a couple of weeks ago. He's won some games despite not being all that good, but tonight he was great. He out-dueled CJ Carr. He was fantastic. And then in the fourth quarter he takes him right down and he throws the game winning touchdown on third and goal, but whether he has to run it or receive it or whatever he has to do, Bear Balkmeyer was making plays. This is still a young guy, still a young quarterback, and he's out-dueling CJ Carr on national television. And he's frankly overcoming some massive mistakes by BYU, like BYU let Notre Dame back in the game with their special teams mistakes. One being a fumble, which that's going to happen, and the second being one of the worst fake punch you'll ever see in your entire life. They try to fake a pun on their own 25-yard line. They didn't get it, and Notre Dame had short fields both times there in the second half. Notre Dame ends up taking the lead early in the fourth quarter, midway through the fourth quarter, but BYU doesn't flinch. They stare right back at him, and they go down the field, and they score. Shout out to CJ Carr. He let Notre Dame down the field in the last drive, just ran out of time, ran out of space, but just a phenomenal football game. And if today is any indication, and I don't care, there will be a lot of people here saying, the SEC sucks, or this conference sucks. If today is any indication across the country, almost uniformly, shit went crazy. Shit went crazy, whether it was the SEC, whether it was in the Big 12 with BYU and Notre Dame, whether it was ACC with Miami and Florida State, whether it was in the Big 10 with that crazy Indiana-Ohio State game. Shit went crazy all across the land today. Like it was almost uniform that whatever crazy thing could happen, it happened. And shout out to BYU, huge win. They're going to jump up to at least two. I think they'll be one or two. We'll discuss how far Notre Dame falls. Probably not very far. They lost a road game at BYU. But I do want to go back and start where I was originally going to start. There. Let me read an ad and then we'll go. We're going to go to Indiana and Ohio State to start off this show proper. College football season is here. We are in it and we are headed towards Vegas, baby. That is where this all ends up. That is where the championship is. Why not spend some time in Vegas leading up to it? There's no better place on Saturday. You imagine sitting in Vegas with great food and lobster and caviar, whatever. I don't know what you'd be eating in Vegas. But anyway, you got great food. You're sitting at the pool, you're watching beautiful people, and you're watching gigantic screens and the weather's nice, and you're just watching this chaos happen all around you. It's all about Vegas. Visit lasvegas.com. Check it out. There's no better place to watch college football than Las Vegas. Fans can turn every game day into a full-on trip. You got the sportsbook energy, the poolside screens, golf between kickoffs and packed venues that make every Saturday feel like a championship moment. It's the Ultimate Away Game Weekend. Visit lasvegas.com to find out there's no better place to spend your Saturdays. Let's go back to the beginning. And that is Indiana-Ohio State this morning. A weird, ugly game where both quarterbacks, I thought, played D-plus games. One ended up getting hurt and kind of, you know, casting a question mark over the next couple of weeks for his team. That's Julian saying. But ultimately, you know, when the game came down to it, if you boil this thing down to one little thing, Ohio State wins 19-15, but what really happened was, one of the teams caught their miracle fourth down for heave and the other one didn't keep a foot in bounce. That's what it came down to. On fourth and one, Ohio State trying to score, take the lead. They just throw up a prayer to Jeremiah Smith. He stands up there, high points the ball, grabs it, scores a touchdown. Julian saying just floated it up there and he went and got it. Josh Hoover kind of did the same thing, threw it towards the sideline. Nick Marsh gets it. I don't know, maybe blames a bad word because college football is hard and completing that pass is hard. I don't know if you want to blame the quarterback for throwing it a little bit too far towards the out of bounds line. Or Nick Marsh for really not showing that much wherewithal and that much IQ in that spot where he just kind of, he didn't drag his foot, he didn't seem like he knew he was going out of bounds. He just kind of hovered and stepped with his left foot out of bounds. It's a tough play, he's a great receiver. But is there any doubt Jeremiah Smith makes that catch, Liam? No, Jeremiah Smith catch that with his eyes open. Yeah, yeah, it's just a bizarre. Now, then you also got the officiating. I don't know if I'm going to have a whole segment on the officiating, but across the country it was bad today. It was really bad in this game. The roughing the passer was terrible. And then if that touchdown had been caught, if Nick Marsh had caught that ball, there were like six uncalled holding on Indiana on that play. It was an all out blitz, maybe not all out blitz, but it was a pretty heavy blitz. And Ohio State was getting there and they just grabbed on to whatever they could and the refs didn't call anything. But Julian Sam wasn't good, Josh Hoover wasn't good. He was 20 of 40. He ended up with 296 yards, I believe, but he wasn't good. He was way too many incomplete passes, sailed so many balls over the middle of the Ohio State defense where you had Charlie B running free, you had Nick Marsh running free, and so often, and I know they're good defenses and I know you're facing a lot of pressure, but you don't transfer there to play bad defenses, you don't transfer to not have pressure, you transfer there to have the pressure. And Josh Hoover just kept sailing the balls. He wasn't good enough to win the game. Julian Sayen was barely good enough to win the game. What did you make of it? You're muted. Josh Hoover hasn't thrown an interception this season. He threw about seven today that day and got picked off. He is very fortunate to have not thrown this game away. Julian Sayen was terrible before he got hurt. Turtled often. Really just, I don't know how I come away with this game where I could be high on either team. I feel like I was going mad the entire game. I know I texted you a few times in the mostly chat, like both teams deserved to win, but both teams deserved to lose. It was a slot fest. I know the run defense were good, but if I'm looking forward to this for Ohio State, we're in a paradox in college football, Brandon, where so many of these teams do not have QB2s that are ready to go insert themselves into a football game. No kidding. Ohio State's backup QB can't play football. No fucking kidding, dude. Unreal. Preach. Yeah. Yeah. I'm sorry. I hit a soft spot there indirectly. Is an epidemic across the sport? What is Ohio State going to do to overcome this? That's why Oregon got so much praise for going out. Whatever you think of the kid doesn't matter. For going out and getting a role, it was thought to be a great move. The kid's not good, but at least they had someone prepared with experience. Ohio State shoots themselves on foot. They don't have a guy. These are two of the better defenses either of these teams will face. Valid. I'm still disappointed. Indiana can't run the ball. They couldn't run it against Nebraska. They can't run it. Last year, I know Mendoza was great and had the great highlights, but they were built by their defensive line making you cry and their running game just pounding you into submission. They can't do it this year. Ohio State can't really do it either. When Julian is saying isn't good and he isn't great, the lack of a run game to keep the chains moving exacerbates that, and then he puts more pressure on himself, and he's trying to force the ball into Jeremiah Smith, and he's throwing picks, and he's leading to a seven yard TD drive for Indiana. So the offensive play definitely miles behind what you would expect, but the defenses are very good, and there's no doubt the defenses are very good. But again, you don't recruit Jeremiah Smith and Julian Sayen and every five star in the sun to struggle throwing the football. For whatever reason, Julian Sayen in these big games throughout his career so far at Iowa State has not been very good. And they don't play to go 10 and 2 and hopefully get a nice playoff spot. They play to win national championships every single year. And I don't know if he's playing a national title level, but now they got to figure something out. Ryan Day's got to figure something out with his backup quarterback or something over the next couple of weeks, because the schedule is pretty unrelenting for them. Let's move on. Oh, can I just say something? I'll say it later. I'm going to say it in the what are we doing? I'm going to say it in the what are we doing? Okay. I'm going to say something right now, and it's a preview of what's to come. I thought the games that we saw today were incredible college football. I thought the officiating we saw today across the sport was lacking. I thought the commentary across the sport was pathetic. I thought it was fucking terrible. Chris Fowler and I in Notre Dame BYU, there's what looked to be a game of swinging interception in the fourth quarter, where Notre Dame guy is all over the BYU defender, and he's standing there and he catches the ball, hits him right in the chest. Chris Fowler said, oh, nice catch by BYU, first and 10. It's like, no, that hit the Notre Dame guy right in the chest. Are they not watching? I understand they've got monitors, but I'm watching the same thing. They're watching in their monitor, why can't they see that? Chris Fowler was bad and then we got others. We got others that were bad, including in the what are we doing and just a little bit. All right. The SEC chaos. I don't know that we pull this down one by one, but we definitely acknowledge it from the top. So Tennessee takes down Alabama and not only takes down Alabama, beats the living shit out of Alabama, just took their will to live, suffocated them, just it could have been worse. It was 26 to 10, Alabama's one touchdown drive, I believe was on a short field. Like I know Alabama fans enjoyed a couple of weeks ago when I got embarrassed and they beat Mississippi State 56-23 and they all DM me or they all said things like, I thought we played soft football. I thought Kaelin DeBoer played soft west coast football. And the second that game ended and I had to endure all that cause I'm the real hero here. The second that game ended, they've done nothing but play soft west coast football ever since. And they go into Knoxville today after losing last week. They go into Knoxville and Tennessee just thumps them right on the skull. There's nothing they can do about it. 159 yards for Deshaun Bishop. Keelan Russell was bad and just, you know, that Heisman campaign is up in smoke. That's over that that five minute window where we thought he was the best quarterback in the country. We can we can get rid of that now. But this is DeBoer football. This is Kaelin DeBoer football. When they play in Mississippi State, when they play a team, they have a talent advantage. They're going to look like a million bucks. But when a team can smack them in the face, like Indiana in the playoffs, Oklahoma a couple of years ago, 24 to 3, Oklahoma last year in Tuscaloosa, when a team has the physicality and the capability to stand across the line of scrimmage and pop them in the face, they wither. And they just they can't do anything. That's who Alabama football is right now. That is the truth. And Tennessee, since we're here, I had Tennessee as the most overrated team in the country. They were number 14. I said, that is ridiculous. There's nothing about this team should be number 14. They don't have a quarterback. Well, he's kind of showed up today, George McIntyre. I saw him struggle against Arkansas. I said, why are they ranked? We see why they're ranked. They just went out and kicked Alabama's ass. I was completely wrong about Tennessee. They came out. That defense is incredible on top five defenses in the country. And they smoked Alabama, absolutely whipped them from pillar to post. And another great scene there in Knoxville, Tennessee, with the field storming. Liam. I think Neyland Stadium after a big win, especially when they beat Alabama in their underdogs, I think that's the coolest scene in the sport and the regular season. I think it is so wholesome, so beautiful. Everyone rushing the field, lining up their cigars, the songs playing, like everything blends so perfectly. It's such a great culmination of college football. With that being said, there was bloodshed all over the battlefield today. It was a gory, ugly scene. That was like, you're 11 years old and you're playing your four-year-old brother in Rockham Sockham Robots, and the brother doesn't know the controls, doesn't know how to click, what to do. That was Alabama. They got popped in the mouth every single rep, Brandon. I was with you. I thought Tennessee was grossly overrated. I thought they were fringe top 25 team. I didn't think offensively that they would be able to do much at all against top teams. Well, I was very, very wrong there. They did what they needed to do. The thing I'm most proud of and most impressed by with Tennessee, that game could have completely went down the wrong way. The avalanche after the special teams blunder by a freshman. Then they hold Alabama off from scoring a touchdown. It's a great resilient moment that really pushed them forward the rest of the game. 347 yards for Tennessee, 201 yards for Alabama, 201 yards. You lose in that big spot last week and your response is to go on the road and get 200 yards. That's pathetic and that's who Katelyn DeBoer is at Alabama. It ain't my fault. It ain't my fault. Meanwhile, if Georgia beat Alabama twice, Alabama actually came back and beat Georgia today because those two teams both came out of that game and laid massive eggs in the next game. Now I give Georgia less of a pass here for coming out flat because they were up 14 to nothing in this game. They were up 14 to nothing against the team, Auburn, who has a quarterback who can't throw. Byron Brown can't throw at the SEC level. He's got seven interceptions already this year. He threw for 140, 50 yards today, but he can't really throw. They're down 14 nothing, but Golish and Brown and Auburn to their credit, knew what to do and knew their strengths. He ran 19 times or something like that, 126 yards. They just kept pounding it, pounding it, pounding it. Again, kept for 26 times for 100 and whatever yards, but he just kept running it, kept running it, kept running it. They take the lead. I thought the resilience by Auburn, but they take the 24, 14 lead. You know George is going to have a punch and you know George is going to fight back, and George does that. And they cut it 24, 17, then they get the ball back. Gunner Stockton has a brilliant drive where he, I think he's five of six, maybe six of six, goes all the way down the field, 24, 24. You force Auburn to punt, you're going to win the game. George is going to win the game. Nice try Auburn. Good to see you. Go home, whatever. You're not rolling too much corner today. And then Auburn's defense stands up. Gunner Stockton, if I gave him credit last week for always making the play to win the game, he made the play to lose the game today. He's just holding the ball like a loaf of bread, moving up in the pocket. It gets slapped away from behind. Auburn goes 20 yards and win the game. If you gave me Marty McFly's time machine, and you were able to come pick me up last Monday and drive me to this moment, and I looked around and I see that Notre Dame lost to BYU, and I see that Indiana lost to Ohio State, and I see that Tennessee beat Alabama, and then I see Auburn beat Georgia. I would stop right there and I was like, whoa, okay. Well, obviously, this is bullshit. That didn't happen. Auburn had beat Georgia. Auburn didn't walk into Athens and win, and they did, Liam. And now the SEC, the top of the SEC has cratered and collapsed. And what's left is an absolute apocalyptic mess of like nine teams that are going to go through holy war the next six weeks. The top of the SEC has fallen and it fell today. It's, we said for years, right? Everyone in the industry has said for years, it's the NFL and it's the SEC. If the SEC is going to be the NFL, then we got to come to turns with it. There's going to be a ton of parity. There's going to be teams winning games that they shouldn't win, teams losing games that they shouldn't lose. And today in the SEC felt like the NFL, it felt like the AFC South or NFC South or something where there's these results that don't make sense. But hey, it's okay. We could regroup ourselves and we'll get better and learn and go on down the road. I can't believe this result though, Brandon. Like legitimately, you talk about Marty McFly back to future stuff. This is like a great mirage to me. Like I'm dying of thirst. I'm seeing that this is ain't no way, ain't no way. It's too good to be true. How Auburn is able to win at Georgia with Byron Brown who legitimately cannot throw the football. We have said all season is not an SEC quarterback and they go and they do. All week, you and I are glazing under stock. How many quarterbacks would we rather have than him? Not many. Less than a handful. Not many. He had to be concussed today. He had to be concussed. Uncharacteristic. Speechless. And then lastly, in the SEC, and we're doing, not lastly, because Ole Miss beat the shit out of Missouri and Kentucky went on the road, beat Oklahoma. Bell. Yeah. So I was very right about one of those, very wrong about the other one. But there's Florida going to Texas. And you want to talk about in this league, and the NFL is a week to week league, right? You cannot be surprised by any result in the NFL. And the Bills can go beat Seattle, and they come home, they lose to the Jets. It's just something that can happen. It's just a crazy, crazy world like that. When you get 32 teams, they're all right about the same. Well, this NIO transfer portal has flattened the curve in college football, and no longer can Georgia and Alabama get five stars on their three deep, and just throw in the craziest five star you've ever seen with five seconds left in the game. They can't do it. Doesn't happen anymore. Instead, now, everybody in the SEC has risen a little bit, and they've all got a puncher's chance, and Florida beat Texas. Florida, Florida who lost by three touchdowns in South Carolina. Florida who got beat to sleep by Missouri. Florida who was on their backup quarterback, and then Texas who loses to Oklahoma, and you think, okay, well, this is a get right spot. At least they have Florida coming in. Archer would play well and everything. Coming into the season, there was the thought among people that I know. Ah, it's sounding like Pate now. I'll just say agents, agents thought, if Sark didn't get to the playoff this year, Texas would look real hard, real hard at making a change. Because if you can't get to the playoff this year, what are you doing? With the amount of money they spent on the roster, with the amount of money they've got out there, and with Arch Manning, four years, haven't developed him at all. And now here we are, two losses in a row, two losses to teams you shouldn't be losing to, two losses to unranked teams. It's a bad, bad loss. You have to question Sark, you have to question Arch. You're in the fourth year of Arch, he's gotten no better. He throws for 147 yards today, he has the big fumble. They're in the fourth quarter to basically lose the game. And Sark is helpless, he does nothing, he does nothing to help anybody. He goes out and gets Cam Coleman and gets Wingo. He's got two of the best receivers in the country. It doesn't matter, no matter how much they spend, whatever reason, Sark holds them back, Arch holds them back, Texas just isn't special. Liam, what is wrong? I'm not surprised by this result because of how sour I am on Texas. They are so lucky they're not three and three or two and four. Like genuinely, they're so lucky that they came back and beat Ohio State and were able to hang on for dear life against Tennessee. Sarkis done a horrendous job with Arch Manning. It falls on both of them. You've been saying it falls on both of them. Their run game is not that good. It's all on the defense. Well, Colin Simmons gets hurt. That's a disaster. They're just not. You could spend all the money you want. This is why I was saying at the beginning of the year, going in man, too many egos. You have too many people who want the ball. You have too many people who are going to talk, talk, talk with each other. It's not a good marriage. None of this is healthy. None of this is good. Axis being a dud is not surprising. They're not a top 15 team in this country and they lose again. Shocker, Sark should be out. He should be looking for his way out, too. Imagine, imagine I brought to you a $2 million race car. Just the prettiest, shiniest race car you've ever seen. Chrome all over, the wheels are shining and it looks like, oh my god, this machine, this incredible machine. Now I put it there and I put it in your garage and I say, all right, drive it. And you get in the driver's seat and the leather just soaks you up and then you feel and you do the mirrors, you're like, oh yeah, put your sunglasses on, I'm about to go. And you turn the key and you're like, what, it doesn't work. And you look and there's no engine in the car. There's no engine. It's a beautiful racing machine with no engine. And one of the two people, Sark or Arch, has to be the engine and they're not. They're fucking, maybe they team up to be the engine. They're not. You can look at the stats of Arch Manning. You can look at the stats. Like today, 147 yards, no picks. And you think, oh, well, he wasn't that bad. But then you watch him. If reading his stats and then watching him are two totally different lifestyles. Because if you watch him, something's obviously missing. He doesn't have football IQ. He doesn't have killer instinct. He doesn't have something. Bear Bachmeyer tonight for BYU. Did you see that? Did you see when he got the ball in the fourth quarter? Did you see when they threw the ball back to him on that double pass? Did you see the way he attacks football? Arch doesn't do it and Sark doesn't do it either. It's garbage. If I'm a Texas fan, I'm pissing the whole thing. I'm blowing it up. I'm saying Sark out, Arch out, whatever. Just, just, and what does it say for Sark? That of the 800 overall recruits in history, he's had two of them, two quarterbacks, Quinn Uers and Arch, and they both got worse under his tutelage. They both got worse from the time they started to the time they left Texas. That's bad. Texas is cake is what I'm trying to say. Where's Texas go from here, brother? How many wins do they get? That's a story from Monday. I was thinking about this. You can look at the rest of the SEC and you can come up with your opinions. But what are those opinions worth? Not a goddamn thing. Like Ole Miss today, 31 to 3. 31 to 3, they beat Missouri. They look like they fixed their defense. Would you be shocked if Texas beat Ole Miss? No. No. Would you be shocked if Oklahoma beat Ole Miss? No. Would you be shocked? Yeah. Would you be shocked? No. I wouldn't be shocked if anybody beats anybody. Auburn beat Georgia. Auburn beat Georgia. For whatever reason, this is a week to week league this year, and we're going to have a mess of 9 to 3 teams in a few weeks. We'll worry about that when we get there. All I know is if you don't have Camario Taylor and Fluff Bothwell, you're fucking doomed. And I don't think any game should count if you don't have those two guys. And I have sent my petition to the SEC. Sankey is supposed to get back to me tomorrow morning, but it shouldn't count. Shouldn't count. Reckham Tech, yeah, there's, today was a, I hesitate to get into the conference stuff because a lot of people are saying, oh, the SEC is down. I don't know if today's results indicate the SEC is down. It just indicates that the entirety of the SEC is pretty close together. But I will say, the Big 12 had a day. The Big 12 had a hell of a day with BYU beating Notre Dame and Texas Tech looking like Texas Tech is supposed to look. Like Texas Tech all of a sudden looked like you would have expected them to look. They went 53 to something over Arizona State. Arizona State is not in any great shakes, but still they haven't looked that good at all. And the BYU were the biggest win for the conference in a while. So huge, huge, huge day for the Big 12. Where else do we go? I want to do Miami Florida State. All right, so we got about nine or ten takes here from teams and games. Then we'll get to our categories and our awards, and they are going to be extensive tonight. Yep, we also do have something to show you that you haven't seen yet that happened in the BYU Notre Dame game. I'll see that. I'll watch that right now. Do you have it ready? Okay, Lukey, do you have this ready? I sent it to you on the Twitter. I don't like you two blood men having secrets and surprises. No, not a secret nor surprises happened. It started to come out after the game ended and you are well within your flow. I felt like this was a good time to bring it up. Okay. So obviously Notre Dame loses to Miami tonight. We've got it. Looks like Notre Dame should have had time for one. Oh my God. Oh my God. Ball hits the ground one second. Now, wait a minute. Wait a minute. I see that. The play clock operator or the clock operator must have been slow in the draw because that was a first in goal from the five, right? The four and that was a route to the back of the end zone. There's no way. I don't think that would have happened. I don't think that would have happened. Snap to ball in three seconds. Would that have taken three seconds? Four seconds. There's no way, there's no way. Snap, kind of late to pull the trigger off the snap. I mean, but every angle they show, there's a second left. I'll tell you another thing. If there's ever a team I'm not going to be sad for, it's the Notre Dame fighting Irish. You finally play somebody on your schedule worth a damn. You go out there and lose, I'm not going to cry for you. So, here's what it is. Let's go through some other takes here. Houston beats Oklahoma State. Well, I assume Houston beat Oklahoma State. Everything went crazy. 35-32 was the final score. The Big 12 taking shape. Actually, I kind of overran my point here. I wanted to make the point that the Big 12 had a good day. I already said it a little bit, but Houston beats Oklahoma State as that conference continues to ramp up and get more and more exciting coming down the stretch of the season. Big win for Houston, Liam. Yeah, I didn't really see any of this game. I was preoccupied with a lot of the other ones going on. UCLA, Miami, and the Notre Dame BYU one. I know Houston's passing attack is lethal, and Amari Thomas made a few big time plays. He's incredible. They're a good team. I wish that Houston, Texas Tech had gone played when both teams were humming. It's that early in the year, but we're good. I know you were watching your team in other games tonight. Are you aware that Notre Dame, North Dakota State, Jackson Williams had 109-yard kick-six tonight? Yeah, saw it. It was very poetic to happen. Jackson Williams from North Dakota State had 109-yard kick-six tonight. We of course know the great play of all time, Chris Davis with the kick-six. But if you take away the stakes and the fact that game mattered, this game was in October, and just look at it aesthetically, it was a prettier kick-six. It's unbelievable kick-six. He gets it at the back of the end zone, he runs out, he jukes a guy like the three-yard line, he has to weave and dodge and do this. Chris Davis just ran to the sideline or outran all the fat guys from Alabama. But if you haven't seen this play, probably the play of the day in college football, an amazing, amazing, amazing play from Jackson Williams in North Dakota State. Ole Miss killed Missouri, 31-3. I take a lot of lumps because of how wrong I am. I sniffed Missouri out from the start, man. Missouri, that was so easy to see. They were getting over talked about. Austin Simmons was getting over talked about. They beat Florida, who was due a loss, and they beat a reeling A&M, and people acted like they were a playoff team. They're not, they're okay, they're okay. They're towards the lower end of the SEC, and I get it, my team is towards the lower end of the SEC. They're probably around that 10 to 12 range. But like Ole Miss, meanwhile, if you see all the chaos happening around them, their defense was so bad the first three or four weeks. Well, the last couple of weeks, their defense was good against Vandy and great today. If they fixed that defense with Georgia coming down a little bit, Texas coming down a little bit, everybody coming down, all of a sudden Ole Miss looks more like a playoff contender than they did like five days ago, Liam. Yeah, Ole Miss' rush defense today was terrific. They get an A-plus grade for me on the blot model. I really thought that this was going to be a higher scoring game with both teams trading blows. Just wasn't the case. You have to give all the credit in the world. Ole Miss defense for stepping up like good for Pete Golding. Finally, again, that unit to do something, man. Their offense is too good to go to waste. I want to talk to Randy Melton one. Why were so many teams overrated this year? I'm as guilty of saying teams are overrated as anybody else, but the truth is falling in love with a rating in this era of college football is where you go wrong and make a mistake. The sport has compressed to a level where it is now the lowest, low and highest high are very, very thin. These teams are so much closer than they have ever been in the history of college football, especially in the SEC. Georgia and Alabama used to have such a roster advantage because of what they would do to go get that roster and how good they were at it. And they had such a roster advantage, they would have a national title worthy team in their three deep. Their third string was incredible. And now with NIL and Transfer Portal, everybody has access to this talent and it is more spread out. And guys aren't going to ride the bench for three years at Georgia and Alabama. They're just not. They're going to go get 1.5 million and play at Kentucky. They're going to do these things. So you can say everybody's overrated, but what has happened is the bottom has caught the top. And it's just a beautiful. It results in beautiful chaos and it's unbelievable. Unbelievable. LSU killed Mississippi State 31-0. I thought Lane Kiffin was a good person. Apparently he's not. I texted him and I said that Lane, can we play this game in January? And he didn't answer me because I don't have his number. But yeah, I think I thought that was a low class move by Lane Kiffin to play this game. And he shouldn't have. And most people would have waited until Mario Taylor got home. Michigan wins. They beat Penn State. Who cares if they beat Penn State? The bigger deal. Liam Blutman is the Bryce Underwood era over at Michigan. Yeah, all credit in the world to him for being a great teammate and hyping Tommy Carr up. But it didn't matter if Tommy Carr was throwing the ball well or not. He made some good throws. He really did. What mattered is Michigan's offense was humming without Underwood in the game. And I mean, they weren't always efficient. But what I mean by that is they were playing harder, tougher for each other more. It felt like they were playing football with a purpose. It really did. And they scored 21 points off of Penn State turnovers. And later, Penn State is truly awful. They are truly awful. Really bad. They had an opportunity when they decided that the James Franklin years of going 10-2 and 9-3 weren't good enough. They had an opportunity to make a statement, say, this is Penn State and this is who we are. We're going to go out and get a coach that doesn't do that. And they went out and got a perennial 7-5 coach. And it's one of the all time, what the? What? You broke up with an 8 to date a 6? Like why would you do that? And that's where Penn State is. Michigan is still not great, but defense is going to keep them interesting until maybe Tommy Carr. Now, if he gets QB one reps in practice, he gets better and better each week. Is he a true freshman or a redshirt freshman? He's true, right? I think he's true. He wasn't in the class of Bryce, and Bryce is a sophomore, so he's true freshman. Anyway, moving along, we've got, I have a show announcement. Actually, I have a studio update I have to make. I said a couple of weeks ago that I was going to put this Arkansas helmet here, and I wasn't going to move it until they won an SEC game. Now, in my mind, that meant two to three years of dust would accumulate on this, and I would be able to pat it every now and then, and hilarious dust piles would come off of it like pig pen. I thought we would go through the years and you would see my young son Tommy, standing here with the Arkansas helmet, and then here, and then here, and now he's a grown man, and his kid comes in, and the Arkansas helmet is still there. But instead, because I announced that Arkansas helmet will get removed when they win an SEC game. I hope my ass crack didn't show there. Congratulations to the Hogs. You have won an SEC game. You have beaten the Vanderbilt Commodores. Shout out to Silverfield. Shout out to Arkansas. I know I'm mocking it, but really is a good breakthrough for them. They were close last week against Tennessee. You can see they were getting better. But they ended up winning this game today. Yup. Diego Paveo is campaigning for last year's Heisman. And Kentucky goes on the road and beats Oklahoma. Oklahoma just doesn't come through with the... You know, my hope when I saw them plus 800 for the playoff was talented defense, very good number. If I can get a couple of wins in a row, they get rolling downhill and look out. But they had to beat Kentucky first, and they didn't. Will Stein goes on the road, ugly, low-scoring game, but they win, that's all that matters. John Matier, truly, truly terrible at playing college football, and I congratulate him on his career effort as he throws for 367 yards and seven touchdowns next week in Starkville. Brandon. Yes. I want to do a look ahead, but November 7th, Kentucky at Tennessee. Again, I think Monday might just need to be a look ahead in all facets, because in the Big Ten, Ohio State is their best team, and they're sitting on top of the sport, right? Well, they have a backup quarterback. They already have a loss, and they got USC and Oregon coming up on the schedule. Oregon is pretty much- Don't look at the Oregon score. Don't look at the Oregon score right now. What is the Oregon score? Just 0-0, Slopfest. Oregon is terrible and awful and crazy. If Dante Moore comes back, they go on the road, playing a backup quarterback in Ohio State. Like, looking forward in the Big Ten, all of a sudden, it's just fascinating to extrapolate. And the SEC, my God, all of these teams that are so close together are just going to keep playing in different combinations. Like, Texas is going to play- Texas is going to play everybody. Texas plays everybody that's still good. It feels like everybody plays. Oklahoma plays. Ole Miss plays Texas. I'm scatterbrained, excuse me. But they all play is what I'm trying to say. Let me do an ad and then we're going to get to our categories. Chat, Louisville's fans smell bad says Nick 4554. Thank you very much. A lot of Kentucky fans here, a lot of Kentucky fans here, which I believe is indicative of what this season is. And this season has been one of the most humbling I've ever seen in college football. Right now, it's the Kentucky fans that are swarming us right now. They're just talking about Will Stein, talk about Will Stein, talk about Will Stein. In a couple of weeks, when they get beat and they get embarrassed by somebody, it'll come back around and it'll be somebody else. It was Missouri last week. They're all over the place. And then Tennessee is gonna be here. Like it's humbling. It's just a nonstop cycle of humbling in that league. And it's coming around for everybody. But Will Stein is fantastic. I will say that. He is fantastic. I'll do this one right here. The Reese's winner of the week. Reese's, this candy right here, this delicious candy. Reese's cups are the best candy on the market. I love getting them on road trips. You know, stopping, getting your water and a Reese's and just getting on down the road. You guys know Reese's. You know what it tastes like, that delicious treat of chocolate and peanut butter. I have to tell you that. They're the official candy partner of Barstool Sports. We have the Reese's room. The other day, my son, my 11 year old son was at work and he says, Dad, can I go to the Reese's room? I said, son, as long as I'm Brandon Walker and I'm your father, yes, you can go to the Reese's room. We're going to get you some candy. And we walked into the room or he walked in the room. He came back and he said, there's somebody in there. I said, what? There's a grown man in the Reese's room? Yeah, he's watching TV. I said, who is watching TV in the Reese's room? And I went in the Reese's room and Liam, do you remember who was sitting there watching TV? Is that where you watch TV? On Thursday afternoons, I go into the Reese's room, I watch the Wednesday night episode of Survivor, and then I take like an hour, an hour and a half break for myself, and I go back downstairs and I get ready for Thursday night football. Is that such a bad thing to do? Who was the Reese's winner of the week? Me and Liam will both have a bite at this Reese's Cup right here. I'm going to say the winner of the week, the most impressive team for me. I had it written down as one team, but I have to switch it based on the night's action. It's definitely BYU. It's BYU at home, beautiful scene in Provo, gigantic crowd, everybody watching you, everybody looking. BYU has needed a chance to prove themselves for a couple of years now, and it's gone wanting because they've run up against the tech a couple of times, but this time they get BYU in there, or they get Notre Dame in there, excuse me, Notre Dame comes in and they handle them. They take care of business from snap one all the way up into the fourth quarter. Then they fall behind. And what do you do when you fall behind? You get up, you fight back, and your quarterback Bayer Bachmeier comes back, you win the game. Terrific win by BYU. They're going to jump up to the top three in the country, no doubt. They are my Reese's winner of the week. Liam, who's your Reese's winner of the week? I'm going to go, I got like, I'm stuck here. I'm going to go Josh Hypple. I think he's heard a bit of noise surrounding his name and his future at Tennessee, and all he did today was lay his nuts on the table, come away with a big time statement win. Put yourself in the thick of the SEC race. That's what it's all about. Beautiful scene in Knoxville, loved every second of it, so called that up. That's the beautiful stuff that makes college football shout to Josh Hypple. Yeah, it was incredible. And I've got another one. I've got a, what do I have? Oh, my most badass thing is from this game. My most badass thing I saw all day is from Tennessee and Alabama, so I will hold off. But obviously, if you think about it, you know, as far as the recent winners of the day, Tennessee is a great one, thumping Alabama the way they did. Auburn, Auburn getting off the mat and going over to Georgia and beating, not only winning a big game and beating number one, but doing it against your rival. Like beating the team that you hate, one of the teams that you hate. You hate Alabama, you hate Georgia, and you go over there and you beat them. BYU is another one. Florida State was this close to being a team that was the winner of the week. They were this close, and maybe the refs kind of screwed them on that one. Speaking of, I was trying to get to later, I wanted to get to the Florida State Miami game. Well, now is as good a time as any. Miami ends up winning 43 to 35, and they were up against it several times. They come back, Darian Mensah, I almost said Ken Ward. Darian Mensah, 330 yards, I think, but big time plays in the fourth quarter. Hits a touchdown to Malachi Tony. Malachi Tony hits a two point conversion. Malachi Tony with two touchdowns on the night. They ended up winning 43, 35. But the saddest part was the Florida State fighting, and fighting, and fighting. They fell behind seven with 2.39 left, immediately scored on a 75 yard touchdown pass to tie it up. And then down 43, 35 in the second overtime, they hit basically a Hail Mary on third and 21, or fourth and 21. Fourth and 21, games on the line. They throw a Hail Mary, guy catches it, boom, two point conversion, you tie them, we're going to another overtime. But no, the refs don't let them have that opportunity. They call a very questionable holding call. They kill all momentum of that finish. They kill the game. Fourth and 21 Hail Mary, throw the flags away. You're not calling holding on that. It's ridiculous, Liam. I completely agree, man. They essentially just converted back to back Hail Marys and neither of them count. The second one, we all know who had the ball still. And then fourth and 31, they hit another Hail Mary. It looks like it's in the guy's hands, the floor state guy's hands. He falls backwards. Miami guys there to have it in his chest. They called an interception on the field. And because they called an interception on the field, I don't think they could overturn it. If they had called it a touchdown on the field, they would have been able to overturn that. That's how stupid our replay rules are. But Florida State, I saw you. I saw you out there. Miami's gonna be maybe number one or two in the country. And they were this close to getting beat tonight by Florida State, their rival at home. That game was crack. That game was unbelievable. Not just saying that, cause Michael Irvin was there. Miami, Florida State, Notre Dame, BYU made for maybe the best five minutes of college football this year. That's how good that was at the end of those games. The most depressing team of the day, Liam Blumman, I'll let you go first. The most depressing team of the day, Brandon Walker. It has to be Texas. It just has to be Texas again. And I'm sorry for like picking on them constantly. But when the product you continue to put out isn't even close to being up to standards, up to par, I've got to rip you. Steve Sarkeesian does not understand how to develop a quarterback. We've seen it with yours, we've seen it with Arch Manning. The guy computes at such a slow level, man. There was what you could rip them apart for so many things today. There's a third in one and he runs out of bounds and takes the sack, puts up my fourth and two. Like there's just the little things that he doesn't understand. So Texas fans, I feel for you. You invested so much money into this roster. You put your faith into this head coach who there was friction with last season. And this season, he's doing nothing for you. And you're lucky to be fourth and two. What a disaster. Yeah, it's bad. It's bad. Excuse me. I got several just running through the ones that are depressing in my mind and not even just the ranked ones. Maryland lost to Rutgers. Can I say that again? Maryland lost to Rutgers. Two weeks ago, actually ten days ago, ten days ago, Liam, maybe not ten days ago, hold on. Two weeks and two days ago, however long that is, two weeks and two days ago, the PIP Panthers were 5-0. They were 5-0, had just beaten Virginia Tech, had just survived and Pat and our dudes had got on our mic and said, hey, you AP voters, you sacks of shit. Maybe you'll notice how good we are now, you assholes. They have lost back to back. They have lost back to back. They don't have their quarterback anymore. Mason Heintschild, very good quarterback. He's out. They lose last week and then they lose today. But at least today, they lost to a great team like Miami. Nope, nope. Check that. They lost to Boston College. Well, let's add another one then. Go ahead. Another one that we've picked on plenty. They're down 27, nothing at home on their. Cal. Yes, sir. There. I don't know if you know what's going on with JKS. He took that hit to the head a few weeks ago, had the concussion. He came back to Cal. He passed up on so many NIL offers to go play elsewhere. There's rumors up in Berkeley that he quit on the team and doesn't want to play for Cal anymore and is headed somewhere else in 2027. Wants to secure the back. It's a disaster in Berkeley. The Tosh LePoy era really might be one and done. You did interrupt my flow as I was just going through the litany of depressing teams, but you did so with a very depressing team of your own, so you win that round. Oklahoma is depressing. What's the point of beating, what the fuck you're beating Texas for? What the fuck you're getting back in this thing for? If you're just going to go out and let Matthea ruin your season one more time against Kentucky, just a gross effort at home. Alabama, Alabama, boy, oh boy, your manhood is tested. You're on the road. Your manhood is tested. Tennessee is punching you in there, pushing you in there, kicking you in the dirt. And what do you do? Oh, we're going to lose 26 to 10. Just a soft pillow soft football team from a pillow soft coach. Just an embarrassing effort. But the answer, the answer, the answer is Texas. Texas is fucking depressing. Losing to your rival is one thing. Coming home in a get-right spot against a team that was reeling with their backup quarterback, and then that happens, and all the money you spent was for nothing, and all the hires you made for nothing. You've got two star running backs at transfer to end that are wasting the ends of their career with you. Hollywood Smothers and Relique Brown wasting their time with you. Cam Coleman is wasting his time with Texas. Arch Manning, where is he at? Ole Miss next year? Iowa, where is he going? Because it ain't Texas depressing at Texas. The hand up, I was wrong award. I'll go first. The hand up, I was wrong award. It's Tennessee, and it's Tennessee by a mile. They barely beat Arkansas last week, and it looked rough. I know they won the game, it looked worse than that. It was terrible. And I thought, this is the most overrated team in the country. I can't believe you idiot voters have them at number 14. They had Faison Brandon, that looks like it might be done. George McIntyre, he wasn't doing anything. Well, now he might be the guy. He might be the guy going forward. Because Tennessee, the most overrated team in the country, according to Brandon Walker, goes out and smacks Alabama down, wins a top 15 matchup. They're going to be in the top 10 perhaps now, and they have earned it. And they did it with a defense that is fantastic. The defense is just relentless at every single level. And then you've got Deshaun Bishop, who's going to run the ball and run it and run it and run it. He's just sitting there with the biggest arms you've ever seen in a running back, just an absolute hulk of a running back. Runs for 160 yards and two touchdowns. Tennessee, I was hand up. I was wrong. Who's your hand up? I was wrong. One, I said Georgia could be the 130 FBS teams by double digits. The great genius caveat there created by Liam Blutman is we won't know. We won't know if that's right or wrong, but we know one thing for sure. Auburn and Alabama are two of the five or six teams that they want to be. Good thing I'm smart. The real one is North Carolina's Chapel Bill. What? Whoa, they're four and two? They go and they're up 17 or whatever on Duke. And they find themselves in the thick of it, down late in the second half in the fourth quarter, and they still win it. All of a sudden, UNC is four and two and looks so competent. Where is Jordan? Where has she been? Is that why they're good? Chapel Bill, man, I started noticing this a couple of weeks ago. I called them annoyingly competent. Like North Carolina isn't the best team in the country, but like they're not a joke. They're nothing to take lightly. They're nothing to sneeze at. And in the ACC, if you don't bring your hard hat, play North Carolina, they're going to tap them titties. I mean, they're pretty good. They're pretty good. Well, Mike too. Well done. Well done. Let's do the top 10 players of the week award. I'll go ahead and go through mine after I tell you about Ryobi. Actually, I'm going to tell you about FOX One. I'll save Ryobi in just a minute. FOX One, it all goes down at noon. Big games, big teams, big plays. And of course, today we saw the biggest game, Ohio State, Indiana. Huge plays made by Nick Marsh not making the big play and then Jeremiah Smith making the big plays. Jeremiah Smith had four catches for 63 yards. And I feel like his grip on the Heisman didn't go away at all. Didn't even go away, kinda. He technically had a down game, but just the way he caught that one ball to win it was just so, so great. Big Noon Saturday is streaming live on FOX One. You got rivalries, you've got upsets, you've got chaos. Whatever happens, you're watching it live. Football at Noon, streaming live on FOX One. Watch three days free. Big Noon Saturday, live on FOX One. Watch three days free. Offers a subject to change. See FOX One for complete terms and conditions. Let's see. These hillbillies think college football isn't being played as we speak. No, I promise you, Liam's watching it. Yeah. I noticed that was a duck fan. Did that guy had duck in it? No, it says buck. I thought it said duck. Because if you're a duck fan, I don't think you want us watching the college football that's going on right now. I'm locked in on it. I was looking at Nebraska stats, Nebraska Oregon stats, because I want to... Right now, Anthony Calandri, the Nebraska quarterback, is 10 for 17 with 76 yards in the pick, and the Oregon quarterback, Brock Thomas, 6 for 15 with 30 yards in the pick. That's 30 yards, 6 for 15 with 30 yards, with 423 to go in the second quarter. God bless you if you're watching that game. It's not as pretty as it looks on the box score either. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Here's the 10 players I wrote down. Top 10 players in college football today. Obviously, there are a lot more, some that I missed, and maybe you will see that Blutman has them. I don't know. The number one player in college football that I wrote down, and I don't even have his stats. I can't tell you his stats. I could look in a minute, but the stats don't really matter. It's Bear Bachmeier. Bear Bachmeier with two rushing touchdowns, a receiving touchdown, a passing touchdown, a broadest team back from a 24-21 deficit in the fourth quarter, scores the game winner. I thought Bear Bachmeier was unbelievable, really commanded the game, out-dueled CJ Carr, Bear Bachmeier, my number one player of the week. I have Malachi, Tony, and a Dairy-Minsa combo at number two. They almost lost, but those two were excellent as always, and kind of saved Miami's bacon in the end. Malachi, Tony, 11 catches, 154 yards, two touchdowns, also had a two-point conversion. Dairy-Minsa, 326 yards, three touchdowns. Number three. Do you have any idea what Michael Hawkins did today, Liam Blevins? I don't know the stats. Michael Hawkins, who can't throw, Michael Hawkins, who cannot throw, he can just run. Today he threw for 464 yards. Today Michael Hawkins, the West Virginia quarterback, accounted for 520 yards and four touchdowns, 464 through the year. Deshaun Bishop, Tennessee, 159 yards, two touchdowns as they beat Alabama. Byron Brown, 280 total yards, three touchdowns as they take down Georgia and Athens. Jacoby Williams, number seven, Texas Tech, 11 carries, 165 yards, two touchdowns. Texas Tech wins 53 to 26, I believe, or 53 to 16 maybe. They absolutely destroy Arizona State. They finally look like the team. Everybody thought they were going to be. Texas Tech is rounding in the form. Sam Levitt for LSU in a game that did not count, an exhibition game in Baton Rouge, 289 yards, four touchdowns, should not have counted, wasn't right. Number nine, Tramell Jones, Florida's quarterback. The numbers aren't great. He had 155 yards, two touchdowns, and he ran for 41, but that doesn't matter. He went on the road as a backup, commanded the team, and every single time they needed to play in the fourth quarter, the second half, he did it. He was fantastic. I might have said his name wrong and I apologize, but he was fantastic. Lastly, Liam, if I said the name, Kale Hellums, does that do anything for you? Of course, it does a lot for me. That's a warrior. Kale Hellums. I will say the word Kale Hellums, and the first person to tell me what school in the chat wins, a thousand Liam Bucks. A thousand Liam Bucks on the line right now in chat. Kale Hellums. Am I eligible for Liam Bucks? You are not eligible for Liam Bucks. Now they're Googling. Now they're Googling. Custard Span says hold. They have to Google. Well, nobody wins a thousand Liam Bucks because Kale Hellums Army today, 25 carries, 195 yards, five touchdowns as they kill FAU. Kale Hellums was fantastic. 200 yards, five touchdowns was great. Those are my 10 players. Who did I miss, Liam? I want to give some shine to Aiden Childs who gets a wacky. That ending to the Northwestern Michigan State game was Looney Tunes. Aiden Childs gets an emotional win against his former team. Happy for him. How about Evan Meadows? Does that name do anything for you? Not a damn thing. Air Force quarterback Brando, was he two of three for 18 yards? Yup, they run for 152 and three. Yup, is he their backup quarterback because Liam Sarka got hurt? Yup. Shout out to Mr. Meadows. Uh, KJ Doff, unbelievable. I mean, the guy is a unicorn. I skipped him. Yeah, another two for him. He was number seven. I don't know why I skipped him. Nine for 113, two touchdowns. Sorry about that. No, I mean, no apologies to the guy. The guy is a freak show and Ruckers is so lucky to have him or things will be so bleak. Then they lost today, Brand. Syracuse lost today. Umari Thatcher had 13 catches for 224 and a touchdown. Do you know who was the quarterback throwing him the ball? Cale Hellams. Malachi Nelson. Oh my God. That Malachi Nelson? That Malachi Nelson and they lost. Boys, you stay USC? UTEP. Yeah, that Malachi Nelson, the kid who don't practice, the kid who don't show up. Well, good for Malachi Nelson, who was 26 of 39 today for 315, two touchdowns, two great throws, two picks too, but I don't know. That was really cool to see Malachi Nelson tweets popping up and clicks of him throwing the rock after so many of us just throw him to the curb. It is cool to see that guy reclaim something and not throw it all away. The kid's a great talent. Somebody says, not surprising a show that gets time on FOX One admit that the refs botched the game in favor of Ohio State before the end of the half. No, if anything, I thought the refs were slanting towards Indiana. I mean, that rough in the passer was awful. And then there was a very questionable hold that killed an Ohio State drive in the first half. But ultimately, I don't think the refs were the reason Ohio State won or Indiana lost. It's just Ohio State won because Ohio State's better football team. Moving on, the I Told You So Award. Of course, I did the hand up. No, I did the hand up I was wrong award. I skipped the I Told You So Award. Oh shoot, you're right. Is that okay? You're right. The I Told You So Award for me. Gather around, children. Gather around. There's not a team in the world I've had more of a finger on the pulse of than Missouri. I know everything about Missouri. I've never been wrong about Missouri. And when everybody was putting them at number 13 in the country, 12 in the country, whatever it was, I was saying, now, wait a minute, wait a minute. This quarterback isn't all that good. This team isn't all that good. This defense isn't that good. Stop, stop. And they said, no, Brandon, you stop. We're right. They beat Florida for god's sakes. They beat Texas A&M, two huge wins. No, they're going to get smacked around. They're going to get smacked around by Ole Miss. And they went and got smacked around by Ole Miss. So I'll wear the hand up, I was wrongs on the Oklahoma's on your own, all your teams with Missouri pitch perfect. I said it on this show, pitch perfect. What was going to happen? So credit to me, Liam, who's your I told you so award. I hate that I'm being so thin with this, but I cannot emphasize enough how impressive. I don't care if it's been the hardest schedule in the conference or the worst or what. It doesn't matter. Will Stein is at Kentucky. He got up on a podium and said, hey, why can Kentucky win? Because of me. That told you all that you needed to know about Will Stein. Brandon and I are very fortunate to have both had elite conversations with this guy. I would die for him and he's not even my coach. I love this guy to death. He is a phenomenal football coach and just understands the sport at a clip that so many head coaches in their positions don't seem to grasp. There's a play where they run their touch and I believe to go up 21-13. If you look at the top of the screen, watch, I believe what the slot receiver does to pull the safety. It's unbelievable Will Stein's doing. What a run for him. I love him, man. He's so dang good at his job. The most badass thing I saw today. Liam Blumman, what was the most badass thing you saw in college football today? It's Alex McPherson kicking the game-winning field goal for Auburn. We've talked about on this show before, but he had ulcerative colitis in 2024, had the large intestine removed and part of his colon. He lost so much weight because of it. I remember watching him last year, how skinny he was and still fighting through it and still kicking. For him to get that moment today in Athens, put them to sleep is just super, super cool. Great, genuine guy, kicking family. Shout out Alex McPherson. That stuff rocks. The most badass thing I saw today is not nearly as good as the one he just said. But to me, he's already referenced it, but the scene at the end of Tennessee beating Alabama with a sea of orange on the field, not just the rushing of the field and not just that awesome scene and the pictures from it, but the pettiness of this rivalry. Not only do they argue about football and coaches and players and everything under the sun, they also argue over a song. Alabama plays Alabama's Dixieland Delight every single game. Tennessee fans are like, hey, by the way, that song is about Tennessee rolling down a backwoods Tennessee byway, one arm on the wheel, and Alabama fans were like, shut up. No, it's not. No, it's not. It's the best Alabama song. Alabama sings it there for Fort Payne, Alabama. Now, what I just described to you was an absolute backwoods, toothless, redneck argument between two SEC schools that only somebody like me would like. But I do like it. Today, when Tennessee beat Alabama's ass, they all got on the field and what they play? They play Dixieland Delight, rolling down the backwoods, Tennessee byway, one arm on the wheel, and they all sing it and they all just stuffed it right now, Alabama's fans faces. The dumbest argument of all time. It's so stupid and it's so petty and it was so badass that they were all on that field singing that. Lastly, the What Are We Doing Award. What are we doing out here? I've got two, Liam. I've got two. If you want to go first, you can. If you take mine though, here's the risk you run. If you take mine, I'm going to throw a shoe at you on Monday. Go first. OK, there's no way I'm risking the shoe throw. Are you can, Marco Wilson? And I was legit going to throw the shoe at you. OK, I have two. Number one, I already mentioned Chris Fowler being terrible tonight for ESPN and basically making calls where it doesn't even sound like he's watching the game, but I got to be fair. And I know we have FOX ties. Gus Johnson, you are at the game. You can see the kick on the field. You can't say pure when a kick is going to end up five yards short. It's a 55 yard field goal. I know you're watching the monitor and you're watching the same thing I see, but you have the ability to look out on the field and see that the ball is going to come up short. You can't say pure as the ball hits the end zone. That's a bad call. That's just a bad call. I'm not a Gus Johnson hater by any stretch of the imagination, but what are we doing? What are we doing, play-by-play announcers? I know it's not the easiest job in the world, but it's easier than you guys make it sometimes. You guys want to call, like Chris Fowler didn't know an interception happened tonight. Gus Johnson didn't know the ball was coming up short when it was happening in front of him. What are we doing, guys? Let's just focus on what we're doing. Kai had one of that? Yes. Florida State, Miami. The announcer calls it Deuce Robinson catches it. Nobody knew who had the ball though. Well, I can't speak to that one because of how old I am. I don't know if you've seen the hell that I'm going through. But there's something in the YouTube TV algorithm, and I've figured it out. I believe when games last longer than there are a lot of time on the guide, it just, it focks it up. So when I'm going back and forth, and I go back to a game that's an overtime, and it's no longer available on the guide, it chooses YouTube TV automatically puts me on an alternate broadcast, and I couldn't find the game broadcast. I watched the entire overtime from a blimp with some fat guy breathing into the mic. It was a bad, I had a bad angle. Now I watched the game tying extra point in the first overtime from over some fat offensive lineman's head on the Miami sideline. The cameras aren't even following the ball. This happened to me last week. I watched the game last week where I just didn't see things that happened. I didn't see a game tying kick last week because they were showing some dude on the sideline. And tonight, I get stuck in Altcast hell, and it's not even a good, it's not like the manning cast, it's just like, here's a camera, we're not going to talk and just figure it out yourself. And that's how I saw the holding and I had to guess if it was a holding or not. I didn't know what it was. What? Yeah. I guess when you rewatch it, you'll see the announcer on the Hail Mary that officially ends the game goes, Induce Robinson comes down with it. And then they say interception. My, my, there you go. I put on the Florida game. I had the first two minutes on. It was in Spanish. It was saying Los Longhorns. Okay. My second one, my second, what are we doing? Goes to that game. This one's a little bit more serious than the other two. This Texas fan who takes his phone down at the end of the game, goes up to Florida fans and flips them, our Florida players and flips them off. What are we doing, dude? They should have kicked your fucking ass. They should have kicked that guy's ass. I would have had no problem if a Florida player rushed him and just beat the shit out of him. Nobody would have. You lost the game. You're just trying to be an asshole for the sake of being an asshole. You're going up to guys you would never go up to in any walk of life. You never walk up to those guys and flip them off in normal life, but you're doing it because they're players and because they're out there, they can't do anything to you. And you think you're Billy Badass because you're on the field. What are we doing, dude? Shut the fuck up. That's it. You're fucking pathetic. I hope I don't know that people know who that guy is now, but fuck that guy. What are we doing? Anything else, Liam, on that one? No, no. Well, these guys think that they're immortal. Yeah. All right. Let's go around the country. Oh, what happened? I got mine. Oh, I said, what else do you have? I thought you meant on that. I still got two of these, playa. I know you had them, Playboy. Of course I do. No, I thought you were punting. No, I'm not punting. I got two. Well, go, go. Noah Eagle going, yeah, we're trying to get this slime celebration out the gate. We're still doing this for 15 yards? That's crazy. Colton Joseph rips up a big run does and gets fine, or gets fine, probably will get fine by the end of life for a cool three mil. It's all NIL. Yeah, that's one. Then the second one I sent to Lukey, Lukey, pull this up, Rocco Becht. The one thing you can't say. Did you see this? I didn't see it. No. Lukey, pull this up. This is one I have of not watching Penn State. Fair. This is after the game. Lukey's pulling this up. All right. Pull the up right now. Here we go. Yep, there it is. I don't know. I'm playing out there. I'm playing free. I feel good. Some players just aren't there for me. They just don't work out for me. I get unlucky and you know what happens. Like I said, it's humbling. So one thing you can't say is I'm getting unlucky when you're handing the ball to the other team. You're practically handing the ball to the other team one, two, three times. You're the reason your team lost another game. You're the reason you guys are the laughing stock of the Big Ten. There's no reason Rocco Beck should be QB one of Penn State any longer. They have seen what they needed to see from him. They need to see what they have from Manski. Now I got unlucky. I'm getting unlucky Brandon. Are you kidding me? Fair enough. I had not seen that, but I'm glad that I saw it. So let's go around the country to the scoreboard and anything we missed, we will be able to hit it right here, starting in the Atlantic Coast Conference. All right. Wake Forest right now up on 34-0 on Cal. Wake is just a good football team. There's not, I don't want to qualify by saying, oh, that might be the second best team in the ACC. They're just good. They might be top 20 good. They're just a good-ass football team. They go on the road, 34-0. They're up on Cal right now just destroying that poor team. Clemson 37-0 over College of Charleston. Charleston Southern. Charleston Southern. This says CCH. Boston College 27, Pitt 21. The Corpse of Pitt season continues to rot. SMU 33-13 over UVA. The Voprabula experience that I liked so much in the first two weeks is done. North Carolina, the annoyingly decent North Carolina, the 24-20 over Duke. Virginia Tech 34, Georgia Tech 24. I can proudly say I know nothing about that game. I know nothing about that game. About which game? Georgia Tech and Virginia Tech, nothing. And you don't either. We've got Stanford 34, ELO 7 and Louisville 34, 26 on the road over Syracuse. We go to the Big 12. And that is where a couple of teams we haven't talked about. Utah having some trouble with Colorado out there, just out of halftime. It was 13-0 and Colorado just ripped off a massive, massive touchdown play. 13-7 Colorado down to Utah. Kansas State 35-24 over Kansas. That score, not really indicative of how close it was throughout the day, but again, this is Kansas State, Kansas, so Kansas State is going to win. That's just the law in the state of Kansas. West Virginia 45, Cincinnati 42. I texted Nick Teraney this. West Virginia has to be the most, the toughest team on a heart this year. Like, if your blood pressure is high, you just can't be a West Virginia fan, because every single week is like this. Every single week, they're playing 55-45 games. They win this one 45-42, as Michael Hawkins has 520 yards of total offense, and they beat Cincinnati. A pretty good Cincinnati team, so not a bad win there for West Virginia. Texas Tech 53-25 over Arizona State. TCU 17, Baylor 6, a Baylor team. I've been saying, you better watch out for them. They're sneaky, and they snuck right the fuck out of that Big 12 race today by losing to TCU at home. BYU 28-24 over Notre Dame, and Houston 35, Oklahoma State 32. As we kind of turn the corner there in the Big 12, going towards the stretch of the season, it looks like BYU and Texas Tech separating themselves with Houston not far behind. The Big 10, we've got Nebraska and Oregon basically at halftime, 27 seconds left, a nothing-nothing barn burner. Yeah, Nebraska's probably about to score. Oregon just led up a third in 22 or third in 26 or something. Dante Moore, Camario Taylor, both deserving of more Heisman votes. I agree. Lukey, I need something. SSO says, Dave's new top 10 tweet is absurd. I'm going to need to see Dave's new top 10 tweet. We might be top four. And you're right, Liam, I came away today. Camario Taylor should get more Heisman votes after the 31-0 loss by Mississippi State today. Because Camario Taylor was obviously masking some problems with the roster. Yeah! Dave Portnoy at Stuhl Presidente. That was the wackiest, wildest, most awesome day of college football of all time. Here's my new top 10, but one thing is clear. Anybody can beat anybody in the Big 12 needs multiple teams and playoffs. Number one for Dave, BYU. Number two, UCLA. Number three, Texas Tech. Number four, Miami. Number five, Utah. Six, good lord. Three Big 12 teams in the top five. Utah's winning 13-7 over Colorado right now. They haven't beaten anybody. They put the five undefeated teams, top five. That's so stupid. Six, Ohio State. Seven, Ole Miss. Eight, Kentucky. Nine, Tennessee. And 10, Georgia. That's certainly a top 10, and it's certainly by Dave Portnoy. The guy who didn't know that the Alabama-Tennessee rivalry is called the third Saturday in October. Washington, 38, Purdue, 26. Just when you think Purdue is turning a corner and pretty good, they lay another egg. Talk about a team that they don't care about their QB1. Washington, Taman, Willem. They threw them in the locker room. I mean, that's one of those things. You said it, I said it, everybody said it. The second he wanted to get out of there and they forced him to stay legally, that's never ending well. Nobody wants to be in that relationship. Nobody is going to be happy. It was stupid of them to fight it. It was stupid of them. It ruined the season or at least to this point. Ohio State 19, Indiana 15, we've talked about that extensively. Northwestern 24, Michigan State 21. Thought Pat Fitzgerald was going to get his revenge. Aidan Childs gets his. Rutgers 37, Maryland 30. What are we, what? Mike Loxley will be fired in the morning, I assume. Mike Loxley got fired after the UCLA game. My question to you is why teams like Maryland are doing a silent firing and allowing the guy that they fired to continue to coach. Is it just because they're begging and hoping and praying a booster, a donor throws them all the buyout money? I don't understand it. I don't know. Michigan 21, Penn State 18 and UCLA 17, Wisconsin 7. A game we haven't talked about even a little bit, Liam. 17-7, you guys are undefeated, 6-0. Don't got to win them pretty, man. I'll tell you this though, Brandon. They bottled up our run game. Ty Diefenbach made big-time throws that Nico was never thinking of throwing. We've got in the SEC, LSU 31, Mississippi State nothing. We've got Oklahoma next week. If Mario and Fluff don't play, I just might take a bath with it. Yeah, it's bad. It's bad. Florida 27, Texas 24 as Texas earns a sweep in our most depressing team. We've got Texas A&M 41, Citadel 3, nothing, excuse me, 41 nothing. Tennessee destroys Alabama 26-10. Enjoy that Katelyn DeBoer football. OMS destroys Missouri 31-3. Auburn 27, Georgia 24. We've talked about all these. 31-21, Arkansas over Vandy and Kentucky on the road 21, Oklahoma 13 as Kentucky looks like a serious, serious football team going on the stretch of the season. All right, Liam, there we go. 7-0 Nebraska going in the half. Oh my God. I can't wait to get over there and not watch that. I will update you. Jimmy Duff, now in his senior season, former five-star, he has thrown, I believe he is in his fourth season. I think he has thrown for 250 touchdowns for three years. He has won two Heisman's. We're going with Kevin Hood as our senior running back. He's pretty good. And then we've got Kerry Longo behind him. Now, we do have an exciting five-star freshman who just got in, his name is Scales. He just got in the first time. He ripped off a 69 yarder on his first ever college carry. But it's really about the receiver room. Two five-stars, Owusu from Hattiesburg, Mississippi. And then we got, who we got? Some sort of like Godbolt or something, that's a 99 speed freshman. Oh my goodness, this Godbolt is going to be incredible. Well, I got news for you too. What? Northwestern State, 21, McNeese State, 24. They got close. Why'd you do that? They got close. They are 0 and 7. That is their first loss, second loss by single digits. The first since the Louisiana Christian opener. They're getting close. All right. That's it. We'll see you guys Monday night.
