New York, New York with John Jastremski

When Will The Yankees Speak To The Media? Plus, Football Fridays.

This transcript does not include audio timing.

Let's roll, baby, welcome in a football Friday edition of New York, New York with your truly JJ Jastremski right here on Underscore Media, live on YouTube. Of course, wherever you get your podcasts, then if you're watching live now, you see the aesthetic a little different for your boy. Not in my usual studio. We got baby sleeping at the moment, not at SNY because I scheduled based upon the ALCS, and clearly we did not get cooperation as far as the Yankees were concerned. But it ended up being a beautiful, beautiful night for me because I got to take baby girl out on the golf course for the first time ever, which by the way, had all the feels, all the emotions, two holes to golf, high fives, just put the biggest, fattest smile on my face all damn day and all damn night. And that extended, I guess, into the Brewers' win over the Dodgers. I can't say it extended into Sam Darnold completely wetting the bed and looking like the Sam Darnold that we've seen for quite some time with the Jets, seeing ghosts, throwing hideous interceptions, all sorts of happy feet. And Thursday Night Football had the Broncos basically do absolutely positive with nothing in the second half of the game. They didn't even do anything in the overtime session. And yet they found a way to win. And they found a way to win because Sam Darnold was atrocious. He almost handed them the game in regulation when an interception. It was also close. To his credit, he gets the team down in the field goal range. And he ended up tying the game. But that's why, like, remember when there was this discussion point with Glenn? Oh, do you defer in overtime? Did anybody watch this game? Is everybody now aware of the fact to why exactly you defer? When you have a defense that you have some sort of trust in? You get a stop, you get the ball, you kick a field goal, you win the game. It's not rocket science. It's not. It's actually really simple math. And yet teams find ways to absolutely go and screw it up. They try to tell you it's time management. They try to tell you, hey, we can muck the clock. It's incredibly assing up. So Denver play to write in overtime. They get to Donald interception. I don't know how they're four and two, but they're four and two. And Seattle is looking at wounds now after back to back losses. Very sloppy, very ugly, but entertaining Thursday night football game. And then, my goodness, what can you say about the brilliance of the Milwaukee Brewers? You know what? I'll take a big fat L on this one. I have been doubting the Brewers all year. I have been of the mindset all postseason, hey, they gotta show me it's different. For a team that a year ago got absolutely annihilated, taken to the cleaners, embarrassed every which way, to go and sweep the two-time defending chance in four consecutive games, to rally down 4-0 like they did in game four, to rally with the incredible, and I mean incredible at that by Jake Bowers in game three. Can you believe as Yankee fans, Jake Bowers has turned into this? That's actually one I can't even give the Yankees crap for. I'd love to, trust me, I'd love to be the first guy to tell you, you know what, we should roast the Yankees for letting go of Jake Bowers. Jake Bowers himself basically said, I was out of baseball. I was done if it wasn't for the fact that, you know, I needed health insurance. And my wife was expecting a baby. And this was basically the best course of action for my family to go and have medical coverage. I got to keep trying to extend my baseball career. I think it's a good thing that he did because he's probably going to go and make every bit of 50, 60, 70, if not more, million dollars in the off season. But like he had two of the great postseason at bats. You're ever going to see against Yamamoto in game two, which clearly set the tone for what ended up happening in that game. And then after the leadoff homerun game three, I mean, they're not doing anything against Blake Snell. He's fouling pitch, hit the pitch, hit the pitch off and he hits the foul homerun. And it was like, there's no way you can actually go and hit one out of the ballpark until he actually did. The Brewers hit homeruns. The Brewers know how to play baseball. They put the ball in play. And I know that there is a group of new age baseball folks who have seen Milwaukee out home of their opponent and they're like, see, see, you got to hit homeruns in the postseason. They're right about that. They're absolutely right about that. But if you notice in the way that Milwaukee has built their baseball team, folks, they weren't leading the National League in homeruns. In fact, they were towards the bottom of the National League when it comes to homeruns. So how did they find a way to be successful? Every player on that team knows their role. They play as a unit. They play cohesively. There's, believe it or not, what a concept, accountability from what they get from Pat Murphy on a day-in and day-out basis. That is how the Milwaukee Brewers were able to go and eradicate the stench of last year's NLCS. Now they go and stick it to the Dodgers, send them packing, and they're now four wins away from a World Series. Listen, it's impossible for us now with this Armageddon lockout that we all know is brewing, that we all know is coming in Major League Baseball. Not to address the elephant in the room. Let's address the elephant in the room. How's baseball going to have the audacity to sell a salary cap this year in labor negotiations when your World Series is going to be Milwaukee in the National League, and it is either going to be Cleveland, who's up two games to one on the raise, Cleveland, a mid-market team that's done it, honestly, in a similar way to Milwaukee or Tampa. And we know what their situation is as far as payroll. How are you selling a salary cap? That's the case. You want to tell me you're getting rid of the fur of contracts? You want to tell me there are other clauses that you're putting in as far as more revenue sharing is concerned? Fine, be my guest. How are you making the case that baseball needs a salary cap? Because for every team that's cheap, as far as these small market owners are concerned, I'm looking at the Pittsburgh Pirates, I'm looking at the Kansas City Royals, I'm going to look at Cleveland and Milwaukee and Tampa as exhibit A, B and C for how those teams can go and have success. Hey, the Milwaukee Brewers are four wins away from a World Series. Look at what their payroll is compared to the Mets who won 70 something games this year. It's just going to be a very, very difficult argument to make. So go look to the owners if that's the way they're going to try to present it. When these next few weeks and next few months play out, good luck. Because I would look at it, and I think many others would look at it and say, hold on a second, you can have success if you do it and build it the right way. Which Milwaukee has done, which Cleveland has done, which Tampa has done. So one note on the baseball before we look ahead to this football Friday, we'll have all regulars, Art DiCesare is fired up, ready to go. Jason Katz over at PFN is ready to go. Of course, appreciate all the love, like, subscribe, comment, do all the stuff that you got to do on YouTube. We appreciate it here on Underscore. We appreciate it, of course, on New York, New York. When are we going to hear from the Yankees? Anybody know? You know, rumor has it Hal apparently has some commitments. Through all the rumblings, hey, they want to get the Cashman extension done before they have him go and meet members of the media. But regardless of whatever the optic may be in Yankee land, it's a week after yet another postseason humiliation. After another team celebrated on the Yankee Stadium field, I'm dying to hear from the Brand Trust. I know that there are some people in the media, or just, hey, full-fledged speculation, trying to wonder, okay, with each passing day that we don't have an announcement about what's going on with the Yankees and their exit post games, post-mortem, what does that mean potentially for the status of Aaron Boone? I'm not getting my hopes up. Of course, is there a case to be made that the Yankees would be better off in 2027 with Alex Cora as the manager? Of course, there is. Is there a case to be made that hey, after nine years of not getting to the top of the mountain and in nine years, not beating a team with a better record in the postseason, sorry, 2020 doesn't count, or only winning three division titles in nine years, or only going to the World Series once, whatever it might be, like the Yankees are entitled to change. Of course, they're entitled to change. Change is long overdue. The feelings of staleness have been well documented, not just by me, not just by other media pundits. How about all of the former Yankee brethren, in some way, shape, or form, go in taking their shots? Anthony Rizzo did it, Ceci Sabathia did it, and I know that George Orati was diplomatic, basically saying that it's the best job that Aaron Boone has done with the team in nine years. But he also did mention that when you have guys making sort of asinine, embarrassing mistakes that the Yankees have made, well, it's in game one, Chisholm in game two, and the fact that after these games, they'd say they'd do it again, like Joe on Sherman and Heyman's podcast looked like a guy whose head was going to explode. So when I hear that, that basically tells me all I need to know about how George Orati is feeling about the lack of accountability that is within that building. I think it's incredibly refreshing and quite frankly needed that so many of these Yankee types have come out and have made the points that they've made, but they need to go and actually take it a step further if they're serious about it. Like Jeter and Aaron, I'm looking at you guys. You guys don't like Brian Cashman. I don't think there's much of a relationship with Aaron Glenn. I don't think you guys really give a crap. Like we all know it. Jeter is mad at the organization. A-Rod is mad at the organization. They can try to say whatever they want. There is a disconnect there. Why can't these guys on television, if they're mocking everything that's going on within the Yankees, telling you how much change is needed within the Yankees. Guys, why can't you come out and say, you know what, maybe they need some new voices. Why is that so difficult for those guys to do? I get George Rorty having a hard time saying that. He was the prior manager of the team. I don't expect George Rorty, who is also a yes employee, to come out and say, you know what, I think the Yankees need a new manager. Of course he's not going to do that. Jeter and Aaron, they don't care. What does it matter to them? That's been my biggest problem with everything I've heard from all of these Yankees, and I appreciate them going out and making their voices heard, because I think they've brought up some really good points, every single one of them, but guys, what's so difficult about this? You know what? Maybe we need some new voices in it. They do. I think that's obvious, because the feeling of staleness that we've talked about now for a week, and really for the better part of the last five years, we've talked about this feeling of staleness continues within the organization. That's why at the end of these years, we're trying to point out, okay, who's accountable for what, who's responsible for what, how much of what's going on in the clubhouse, and guys playing with their heads up their rear ends. Is that on Boone? Yes. Is that on Aaron Judge and his leadership as captain? Yes. Who's more to blame? I'm sick of these diatribes too. But when you have every year playing out the way that it did, they're inevitable. From an accountability standpoint, see Pat Murphy of the now National League Champion, Milwaukee Brewers, taking people with tasks, going after people. Anybody going to argue that that was a mistake? Anybody going to argue that was not the right course of action? I'm like, thank you fans would kill for a manager like that. Kill. Because you'd be like, wow. We feel like our voices are being heard and the manager understands how we are feeling. Instead of the lovey-dovey, love fest bullshit that we've watched for way too long with this organization. So what's today's date? October 16th. It's the 15th, but it's going to be the 16th in about two minutes. When are we hearing from the brain trust? You know, I think what we're going to have to do is, I don't know if I'm going to go live during the entire thing, but I'm either going to go live right after it happens or I'm going to go live during the entire thing and just dissect every gross point and argument that I'm hearing across the board. I think we have a lot of fun with that. So maybe that's a little exercise that we'll do here on the New York, New York YouTube page. Now, it's week six in the NFL. I think it's a very interesting week again for both of the New York locals. And as far as where my intrigue is peaked more so, at the moment, it's the Jets after a sloppy, but effective win over the Cleveland Browns. A game in which David Bailey had three stacks. A game in which he survived yucking up the lead in the fourth quarter and you can thank the lucky stars that the Browns botched the punt, and you took advantage of that. Braylon Allen had the third down draw and all that comes with it. Okay, the Jets are now two and three, which I think everybody would have signed for five weeks into the year, looking at the schedule, kind of going through what's what. It's like, okay, I think everybody was signed for two and three. But now you're going up in weight class because you're playing a team that was in the Super Bowl last year. You're playing a team that has made your life a living hell for the better part of 20-plus years. Last year, Mike Vrabel and company took great satisfaction in sticking it to the Jets, much like Bill Belichick, for years, loved every minute of sticking it to the Jets. The Aaron Glenn truthers were all over me for calling Aaron Glenn the worst coach in the league, which by the way, I believe he is until he's nine. Because look at what his record has been. Look at how the team has been coached. I have been incredibly underwhelmed. It's team one. It showed up for him last week. I give credit where credit's due. But for those of you who want to validate and vindicate, the idea that Aaron Glenn can be the coach of this football team beyond this year, sooner or later, you've got to start winning games like the one the Jets are going to be playing on Sunday in New England. When are you going to make a statement within the division? Last year the Jets went 0 and 6 in the AFC East. That's pretty bad. It's the kids like to say that's Paseur. 0 and 6. They lost to Mediocre Miami twice. They better not lose to Miami twice this year. They better win both games against Miami. But then New England and Buffalo, the teams that are really the teams that you're trying to aspire to. Have you closed the gap? The odds makers think you're going to make this game more competitive. I mean, after all, the line has moved from 9.5 to 7.5 for the Jets. Can the Jets go and disrupt Drake May? They're going to have to. New England is going to be a little healthier going into this game. Looks like AJ Brown is going to be able to play. Christian Gonzalez is going to be able to play, which means he's going to be spending a whole lot of time shadowing Garrett Wilson. So, what's the game plan for the Jets? To me, it's simple. They've got to be able to run the ball. And can they go and get May off of his mark? That's your blueprint of staying in this game and having a legitimate shot of winning this game. But at minimum for the Jets, listen, despite my skepticism on Glenn, they need to go two and one over their next story. At New England, home Miami, home Vegas. That at least puts you in the conversation in November of, hey, our season now is not lost at stake. We are still playing games that believe it or not matter. Great. That's step one. Step two is putting the league on notice, putting the division on notice. Can they do that? They'll be given an opportunity. We'll see if they make the most. Now, this is going to be a good one when we have Art DiCesare on. As the Giants get ready for the New Orleans Saints, the Giants off of the tie that was, hey, good tie, a bad tie. I've debated it quite a bit. Down 14, it was a good tie. When you have the ball and a chance to win a game, it's got to be fumbles. It's a really bad tie. Then when Jaden Daniels gets north of the 50-0 line, and you actually find a way to not lose the game, that's a good tie again. Forget about the semantics. You're 3-1-1. Yet, the oddsmakers look at this game and they have the Giants as hundogs against the team that is 1-4 on the season. Why is that? Well, I think it's the oddsmakers telling you that what the Giants have done over the last few weeks, they don't believe is sustainable. They don't believe that, hey, the Giants can keep pulling games out of the fourth quarter. And there's questions about, hey, this offense, this running game, Jamis Winston. Well, Jamis Winston, what guy you get it? Because in the first half against the Washington commanders, how many Giants fans that are in your life for the Giants fans that are listening to the show right now or watching us live on YouTube, we're saying at half time, hey, maybe it's time to give JJ McCarthy luck. There probably were a few of you. And then you watch Jamis in the second half where he could not have been any more brilliant. I think you kind of got to ride that roller coaster as long as you can ride it. And as far as this notion of putting McCarty in for these gimmick plays, I am not on board with this. I know you're going to tell me, hey, you can move around a little bit. Hey, Jamis Winston is not Jackson Dart. It's not like you're taking some franchise quarterback off the field. It disrupts the entire flow and vibe of your offense. Like, are we really trying to do this for JJ McCarthy? Like, if the idea is, hey, we want to get him ready to play in a game, why don't we do that in practice? Like, put the backwards cap on, put the headset on. I don't need to see you come in and hand the ball off to Sky DeBoo and Aji Harris or try to run an option, or try to do whatever you're trying to do out of shotgun. I don't need it. I'm sticking with Winston. I'm giving Winston a reigns until I'm not giving Jamis Winston a reigns. I'm not on board with these gimmick nonsensical plays that they're running out there. I don't like them. But if you listen to head coach throughout the course of the week, it looks like you're going to have more. What do I make of this line with the Giants being home underdogs against the Saints? I, for one, think the odds makers are trying to tell us something. I know New Orleans is burning me. Hey, I had them last week against the Vikings, not so good. I had them against the Raiders a couple of weeks ago, not so good. But, weirdly, they've played a little bit better on the road. Beat Baltimore, right there with Detroit. I'm warning Giants fans now, be careful with this game. Be very, very careful. Now, if I'm horrible, I'm using the idea of being home underdogs as the ultimate form of motivation. I mean, how can you not? I'm using it. I'm saying, guys, we're 3-1-1, and yet we'll play a 1-4 team, and yet the odds-makers are making them a favorite. This is probably the last off-landing spot for the Giants in a while. Because if you look at their schedule, and I know people are going to tell me, oh, you're playing the Texans. Be careful with that Texan team. They're not a prototypical 1-4 team. Do not be surprised if they bounce back in a big way, like they did last week against Tennessee, taking down the Jaguars in London. We'll get to that a little bit later on. And then after this game, it's at Texans, at Eagles who've got a lot of problems as far as what's going on with Jalen Hurts, this whole bizarre medical diagnosis of Jalen Hurts missing time, commanders, and then it really picks up. Jaguars, very tough game. At the Colts, manageable. Niners, Seahawks, at the Lions, at the Cowboys. Keep stacking them for the Giants. Will they be able to stack another one? A couple of days from now. We'll have some thoughts on that. And it's perfect segue as we welcome in the great Art DiCesare, Art Shark, in the desert. You check him out on Wager Talk. He's got his LT Jersey behind him. Diceman, are the books happy about the fact, first things first, that Milwaukee swept this series in four games? Well, I'll say this. Yes, because you get the Dodgers out of there. But I was always working 10 plus years behind the counter, odds making, doing all the stuff in the risk room. More games is better because it's more content, right, JJ? You get more games, you get to extend series. Now listen, when you're sitting there with a whopper of a liability on the Dodgers to win the pennant, to win the World Series, all the futures they're going to be tied up in, sometimes it is just nice to get them out. So you don't have to worry about it anymore. But we always said, hey, we'd like all these series to go seven. It just gives us more time to book more action and put up more content. It's always a positive for the sports book. Okay. So when we get to the World Series, I have to imagine, Milwaukee will be favored against either one of the American League teams. But what kind of price are we talking about? If it's the raise, I don't know, Milwaukee minus 140, if it's Cleveland minus 160, is that fair? Yeah, I look at, you hit it right there. I think Tampa's probably, Milwaukee, let's call it between 130 and 140. And then you're gonna add 10, 15, 20 cents to Cleveland if it ends up being the Guardians. Milwaukee will be a favorite, they should be a favorite. And I think what you're gonna get now, you've seen it a little bit here in this series, especially after Milwaukee won the first two games, you started seeing the public say, hey, you know what, let's just start betting on Milwaukee. There was a lot of Milwaukee kind of momentum built up after those first two games. Like, wait, hold on, they could do this. Let me go get that plus price still of them to win the World Series. Because even after two games, there's still like plus 105s, plus 110s out there. So I think people were happy to go do that. And let me ask you something, JJ, what did you do with your Cleveland ticket? Right now we are letting it ride. Okay, I like it. I'm glad that you brought this up. You're in a good position. It is now the opportunity to go and get in on Tampa with them being dogs in the series. And to me, it's pretty simple dice. I don't know if you've watched a whole lot of this ALCS. I have. When Jose Ramirez hits, Cleveland is really, really tough to beat. No doubt. When he doesn't hit, they don't win. It's very, very simple. Yeah, if I were you, listen, I always think it's good to take a positive and turn something into a profit. This would be the time now to grab Tampa. Plus 160. This would be the time. But nice, I gotta be honest. You think Cleveland's gonna win? But when I've seen the first three games in this series, I kinda think Cleveland's gonna win. Okay, well then listen, if you feel, and listen, it doesn't, let's just say, even if Tampa were to tie it up, obviously you're not gonna get plus 160 anymore, but there's still a way to make money off of this. It's not like, yeah, you would lose the value of obviously the series being 2-2 and all that type of stuff, but there would still be a way for you to make money. It's not like Tampa's up 2-1 or gonna be up 3-1, where then you'd have no shot because you'd have to lay a ridiculous number. I think you're still sitting in a real good spot. And if your vibe is watching this series that Cleveland's gonna win, you still have time. It's gonna be decision time for you, boy. I'll let you know what I decide to do if they end up playing that baseball game tomorrow evening, which is a little dicey because the weather in Cleveland right now is an absolute mess. Now, before we hit the 2-1-2, I had Seattle tonight. Everything about the line told me to take Denver. I couldn't do it because Nicks was so bad against the Chargers. He was awful again in the second half of this game. I mean, Donald just basically handed them the game on a silver platter. I mean, the missed field goal killer, Donald throws the first pick, they overcome it, they get an overtime, and that's the only way Denver was scoring there, is if you handed them the ball on the 40-yard line. No, 100%. And listen, the defense is championship level. We know they have a championship coach, Hall of Famer. I'm sorry, Denver is not going to be a big time team here in January. If that's their quarterback, they wouldn't despite him. They did this last year, they're doing it again this year. That just goes to show you how good the other parts are with that team. But you're right, we were texting throughout the game, like, if Darnold just does the right thing on that third and one, they should have just ran for the first down. There were so many things that Seattle just bumbled, and it was like, dude, come on, they Denver left the door open for you to win the game, and they didn't do it. Now, would you advise anybody out there with Seattle, and I, for one, do not see them as a team that's going to repeat. I kind of have had that vibe all year. It's just they didn't have the look dice of a team that would go and repeat. Like, maybe this is me having anti-Sam Darnold bias, the loss of Kenneth Walker, but for the audience out there, they've lost two games in a row. They lose to the Niners last week. They lose this game on Thursday night. Would you make the case that anybody out there in a listening audience should go and grab a Seahawks Super Bowl future? Because if you like them and you're a believer in a team, the time is now. This is the time. You're right, JJ. A team that's three and three, that's still going to get some love in the market. It's not like they're going to plummet to 25-30 to one, but you're probably going to get them at their highest point right now, especially with two straight losses. Obviously, we just mentioned it, but both games they could have won. They were both winnable games. I'm with you, very hard to repeat. Donald doesn't seem like the quarterback who wouldn't be a guy who would go repeat. As much as I love Mike McDonald's, as much as I love their defense and JSN to be the best receiver in the NFL, Seattle tough, tough to see them repeat. We talked about this before, San Francisco in their own division, they're the best team right now. I'll take it a step further. They're the best team in the league. Yeah, that's right. Now, they have a bunch of old dudes on that team. They do. That they basically have to keep in bubble wrap. That's why I am not going to be doing the McGregor walk and flexing with my Super Bowl future because I know there's a long, long way to go. Long, long way to go with this Niner team, but they're loaded. They're really, really good. Okay, two-one-two time. Let's hit it. Week six. The two juiciest storylines for you for week six would be what? Well, number one, let's keep it in house with New York, New York. The Giants, this is a must-win. I heard you. Wow, must win. Of course it is. The schedule. Like you said, there's no more easy landing spots. You're going to get a Saints team come into your building. This is very similar to the Arizona thing. When Arizona came in a couple of weeks ago, they ended up going off as a favorite. I get it. Winston was just kind of new into the fold. We didn't know really what to expect from him. There were injuries that the Giants were dealing with. But there's not a lot of real just layups left on the schedule. Even if you want to say Philly with all their stuff. Philly's given the Giants trouble my whole life. I never think a Philly game is a layup. I remember Vince Young coming into old Giants Stadium and beating them. You know, there's never an easy game with those Eagles. So I'll say that much, must win for the Giants. Okay, now I have another story line I need out of you. However, what do we make of this line, guys? The one in four Saints who looked awful last week against the Vikings, who lost it home to the Raiders. They've been a mess. Got smoked by the Falcons on Monday Night Football. Their lame points against the Giants make it make sense. Well, this is how you got to look at it. We're still early enough into the year where bookmakers will hold on to their power ratings just a little bit longer. These teams are basically priced similar to start the year, seven and a half wins each depending on which book you were at, obviously juiced one way or the other. Obviously, the Saints have not played well, the Giants have. So I think this goes to show you that the Giants get no love from the Sharps, they get no love from the bookmakers power rating wise, and the Saints, this is probably the last week. If the Saints go into New York and lose this game and maybe even get embarrassed in the game, lose it by seven, 10 plus points, something like that, maybe the Saints will really get downgraded, but it goes to show you. They're one and a half point favorite in New York, that means they're four, four and a half even more in New Orleans. So that's a pretty spicy line, but Vegas every now and again will tell you where everyone's at power rating-wise. I'd be using that as bulletin board material for sure if I am coach John Harbaugh. Okay, we'll have more on that later. The other juicy week six storyline is what? Bear with me here. This is an interesting one. I saw this, we're now just entering week six. The first five weeks of the season, we have seen a touchdown or more underdog win outright. Not just cover, there's been plenty of covers. Win outright, week one Arizona, week two Cleveland, week three Washington, week four New England, week five Tampa. Which team this week, there's five of them, Tennessee, Arizona, the Chargers, Washington and the Jets. Which one can keep that trend going? Wow, if I had to pick one right now, if I had to pick one right now, call me crazy, Washington on Monday night. Because there should be a letdown for San Francisco. Yeah, and it's just like, nobody wants to take Washington, the coach, the quarterback, how stupid can they be? The Niners are the best team in the league. They're giving you seven and a half. That is, I mean, listen, that's a lot. It's a gift, it's a big gift for goodness sakes. It does. And I love the Niners, you know this. Yeah, of course. I'm telling you, that line is stinky, super stinky. It is stinky, and three of these games are division games. Obviously, Jets, New England, you got the Chargers and the Chiefs, and you got Tennessee and Indy. So obviously, always division games are gonna be tough. Like, I think the Titans can hang with the Colts. The Titans are awful, but... Yeah, the problem I have is the Titans. But at the same time, I would never in a million years lay seven women in the house. I wouldn't either, that's my thing. That's my only thing. Like, if I had to think about, like, I'm not gonna do it with Arizona, you know, the Rams should probably kill them. And I kind of feel that same way about the Chiefs, because all the Chargers have done all year, is screw me and everybody I know. Did you have the Chargers against the Broncos last week? Of course, of course. I couldn't do it because of what I witnessed in that game in Buffalo, where I was like, I'm done with this team. Like, all the instincts of that game told me, hey, go take the Chargers, I couldn't do it. And yet, you should have covered that. They're up 17-10, what are we doing? Hardball, Hardball, his team can't move the ball. It's unbelievable. Let's go for it. And listen, I'm always team goal for it. Fourth and one, let's go for it. When you can't move the ball, and the other team can't move the ball, four-rookie offensive linemen. No, that's, and it's funny too, that was the one, that not, I've told you, I've been two circa millions here. The one where we're 18 and seven, that made us go from a four to one day to a three and two day. That was brutal. Okay, now there are a couple of dogs that are barking this week. I mentioned Washington is possible. But as far as a team that I think can win the game outright, am I crazy to like the Raiders this week against the Bills? That's another tough spot. We always talk about spots and scheduling and whatnot. Now, they did say this on the telecast at Buffalo State out west. So they didn't fly back. They're going to be out on the west coast. But they come off, obviously short rest because they played Monday night. And that's an emotional game to win that type of game. A game that goes to overtime, all those things. The Raiders have been good. The Raiders have been pretty frisky. I will say this, the only thing that would bother me, if I back the Raiders, there's probably going to be 80 percent Bills fans there. There'll be a huge, yes. They travel. They travel to LA. They want to come to Vegas. They might have stayed out there. A hundred percent. They probably said, hey, we're out on the west coast. Maybe we'll go to both or we'll pick one this year. We're either do Vegas or we'll do LA. That would be the only thing that was scary. But no, JJ, I think when you look at that being a four, four and a half point spread, I mean Vegas profiles as a good home dog when you bet in the NFL week in and week out. They do. And I feel like this is the time to take them after they just got slaughtered by the Patriots. And the line is clearly moving in my favor. That's going to be my underdog. What dog do you like this week? Yeah, I'm telling you, it's going to be Tennessee for me. I like getting the seven. I like the divisional spot. And I just can't lay that number with the Colts. And we'll probably be sitting here next week with the Colts 1-31 then. But anytime I can get a whole bunch of points in a division game, I'd rather it at home, obviously. But I think the Titans can hang around. As far as your T's, as we wrap up the 2-1-2, it feels like Dice, there are a couple of obvious T's candidates. Are you going to go with the obvious? Or are you going to go off the beaten path here? Let's see. No, I'm going to go pretty obvious. And listen, we were 0-2, then we went 2-2. We dropped last week. Giants were good to us, as they've always been, Colts just missed. So 2-3 right now. I'm going back to the Giants. I think it's a disrespectful line. I think the fact that there's 1 1⁄2s out there and I can get it over, the key number 7, I really like that. And I like Tampa. I think Tampa, at home, Pittsburgh's not as good away from home. Tampa, extra S, Hummel feeling good with a good win. I can get them over 7, way over 7, so I feel good about that. So the two team, six point T's this week, Giants plus seven and a half, Tampa Bay plus eight and a half. Okay, I like it, because these are spots you want to fade the Steelers. The Steelers at home, you like them. Steelers is a small favorite, you like them. Steelers is a spunky home dog, you love them. Love them. Steelers laying points on the road. This is where you see a lot of eggs over the years. I totally understand it. I just, my fear with Tampa this week is they had such a great win the week prior against the Cowboys. You're not wrong. What do you have in store for another four? Yeah, what's left in the tank. Yeah. So, I get it. I think it's a good tee spot because I don't think Steelers are going to go and win the game by like, I don't know, like 20-foot points. And you always know, JJ, the point of all these teasers is obviously you don't tease through zero. There's all sorts of things you got to follow. But when you can get home teams over a touchdown, that's how you got to look to tease these games. So that's what I always try to do for the most part. Obviously there's plenty of times where it's minus seven, seven and a half, eight, and you get it under that field goal. That's always a spot as well. I thought about Kansas City, but I figured if I put Kansas City in my tease, the Chargers will screw me because that's all they do. Naturally. My two best bets. I don't know if you're going to like either one, but I'm giving them to you. Let's hope for the best. Texans. I think they're about to get rolling. I did not love what I saw from Jacksonville last week. Houston defense got in gear. Jacksonville's got some problems on the offensive line. Texans have been playing well offensively. Their offense has not been their problem. Now they get Harrison Jr. into the fold they could put alongside Nico Collins. He's got the chemistry with CJ Stroud going back to their Buckeye days. I think Texans are going into London and beating the Jaguars outright, so I'll grab the two and a half there. And then Dice, I'm taking the St. Game because the line makes no sense to me. This is where I'm using my biggest instincts. I am taking the Saints to go and beat the Giants here. The Giants have been cover machines. I know Winston and the games he started over the last two years, there's been a cover machine. Why are they making the Saints a favorite? To me, it makes no sense. I need to see it from this giant team. Are they going to be able to play four quarters? Are they going to be able to put up points? Are they going to go and play a consistent, clean brand of football? Hey, they have found ways. I give them a ton of credit. They have been commendable. They have done a wonderful, wonderful job. They've also barely beaten the Cardinals and the Titans and they tied the Commanders. I feel like they do to lose one here. I'm taking the Saints. Yeah, I mean, listen, obviously, that Houston game is very interesting. That's a team that I almost thought about teasing up to eight and a half. I think that's a good spot. You see, the London thing made me kind of just say, hey, I'd rather take teams who were actually at home or teams who were in the States here. But, you know, the Texans are still kind of laying in the weeds here a little bit. You know, I know Jacksonville has been really good and they're a playoff team and probably will end up winning that division. But if Houston could ever win this game, it really is going to put a lot of emphasis on how that division can get a little bit tighter. I'm with you on taking the two and a half, maybe even a sprinkle on the money line. And I get it, JJ, we talked about it. The Saints are a favor for a reason. It's just like Arizona was a favor for a reason. And if you remember, Arizona got off hot in that game. They were up like 14 to three early and they were going down to win the game. They had basically four shots from within the five to beat the Giants. So it's very similar to that Cardinal game. Hey, three to seven points, Saints win, I'll still cover my teaser, we can go that way. I like the sound of that. You have a best bet for us in college football? Decent card, Ohio State, Indiana. It's a real good card. BYU live in that game, aren't they? Well, let's look at the three big ones, right? So obviously, Ohio State, Indiana, we got the rematch. Indiana has been awful against the number, one and five against the spread, but the Sharps are on Indiana. They took them at four, took them at three and a half. That is now three. Notre Dame, BYU, both undefeated, both in the top 10. Sharps took BYU as well at 11 and a half. Got all the way to 10. Little bit of buyback has come on Notre Dame. They're 10 and a half. Bama in Tennessee is interesting too. Bama is going to go on the road in Knoxville, always a tough place to play. Bama was laying seven in an opener, got as high as eight and a half. Sharps took Tennessee as well. That started to creep back to the opener. I'm going to give you Ohio State, I think now at three. I don't know how they stopped Jeremiah Smith. I don't like anything I've seen at Indiana. I know it's tough to go and win on the road. Cignetti is amazing. I think this is a, hey, don't forget about us, Ohio State team. Listen, they should have won their Texas game. They should be undefeated. If you talk to any bookmaker around town, they're still the one or two highest rated power rated team in the country. That's how they view Ohio State and them being this type of opening favorite on the road shows you that. Give me Ohio State minus three. Dice is a parting gift. The Buckeyes, getting a little revenge on Cignetti, and the Indiana Hoosiers. All right, buddy, boy, I'll see you next week. We'll have a World Series Prize, and we'll have week seven, believe it or not. Week seven for Football Fridays. Thanks, Ben. Appreciate you. JJ, we'll talk next week. That's the great Art DiCesare over at Wager Talk. Let's see if his tease can go and get us back to 500. And yes, for yours truly, the Raiders, the Texans, the Saints. That is the week six card for Mr. JJ. We go from Art DiCesare to our fantasy consigniari over at PFN. He's ready to go for week six. Jason Katz. Jason, are you ready to survive a bunch of bi-weeks? How are we doing? We're doing a little better with a lot of guys last week that we thought may not have played, surprisingly returning to action. So that was great, but like you said, guys come back from injury and we lose a bunch of them because we got really good teams not playing football this week. Okay, I want to start here because I think there are a lot of people maybe in the audience who might have Jill and her son in fantasy team. And they might find themselves in a position where it's like, geez, we got to hit the waiver wire. We got to pick up a quarterback. And I know we'll get to our matchup of the week, but let's say we're living in a world where like, you need a replacement beyond one week. Is there a quarterback on the waiver wire that's like maybe under the radar that we can look to take advantage of or is that guy probably not available? Yeah, I think at this point, if you have hurts, it's been really bad for a long time and you definitely can consider possibly like just dropping him outright. We have no idea how long he's gonna be out for. And given the fact that the Eagles might just be kind of a dead team walking, he may not play again. I would go so far as to say, I think that there is a non-zero chance, not saying likely, but non-zero chance. We've seen Hertz last time as an Eagle. I think that's on the table. That's a possibility. So you think there's a world where Jalen Hurston is done for the remainder of this year? I think there is and then they just blow it up. Yes. With Sirianni and the quarterback, which is crazy. And it just goes to show you how finite and how short these windows can be in the NFL. But hey, if you're the Eagles, you actually won a Super Bowl and there's not a whole lot to complain about. I'll tell you what, there is a whole lot to complain about. If you have any of these Denver Broncos, Jason, I know Sam Dornal's story of the game. He threw a couple of hideous interceptions. Boeniks can't get Jalen Waddle to football. The Denver Bronco passing game is broken. Denver keeps winning these games. I don't know how they keep winning these games. Like from a fantasy perspective, all these guys in the Broncos, I want nothing to do with them. Yeah. I do want to answer your question to what quarterback to pick up. But first, I'll address Boeniks here. If you saw what Ryan Fitzpatrick said after the game, he said it's almost disrespectful to the quarterback position how he's playing football. He's being kind because it is disrespectful. There's so many clips of Phil Watchers is showing Boeniks and it's not him missing a breeze right now. He's staring right at the correct player to throw to, wide open, how the play is designed, and he's just opting to check it down to RJ. Harvey or just run and throw the ball away. He's bailing out of the pocket when he has a clean play. It's like, honestly, like what Sam Darnold is seeing goes. He's bailing out of the pocket before there's any pressure. I haven't seen regression like this at the quarterback position in a long time, and it's really hard to put into respect of how damaging that is for someone like Jalen Lada for the entire offense in general. To your question before, what quarterback to pick up? I think that you could look at a sneaky one here is possibly Baker Mayfield because people forgot about him. He's only 25 percent rostered out there. Yes, he's out this week, but he may be back next week and not the week after. Beginning of week 7, we have the Panthers, Falcons, and Bears. All teams you can throw on. Then he's got the Bayou. After the Bayou, he's got the Lions, the Panthers, and then the Chargers and the Ravens, Saints, Falcons. That's a really, really favorable schedule for throwing the ball for shootouts. I know he played very poorly, but if he can come back healthy, I think Baker Mayfield is a sneaky ad if you have a problem in the quarterback right now. Okay, I have one more for you before we hit the matchups. Green Bay's receivers last week were freaking awesome. Christian Watson, Matthew Golden, is that a one week one-off? I know Watson has made a glass. He could get hurt in this cowboy game and we don't see him for 10 weeks. That is definitely on the table. When he plays, he's falling to watch. Golden, it feels like he's finally figuring it out. He's finally putting it together. Are you looking at those two guys? If they're on somebody's bench, get them in your lineup. Hey, somebody's not valuing them, go and trade for them. Are you ready to start really buying into the Watson, Golden, Green Bay passing attack or is that a one week one-off? I've been bought in for a while now. I was very much on Christian Watson getting to this season. It's unfortunate he's one of the few players that I made in a bunch of fantasy leagues obviously, and I just couldn't get Watson. She's never worked out where I was able to draft him. I was very upset about it. And of course, as you can see, he's absolutely smashing, was one of the best picks in the fifth or sixth round, averaging 21.9 fantasy points per game. But when we talk about like every year that there are certain teams that usually one or two maybe that have two top 12 receivers. And I don't think anybody considered the fact that it could be the Packers. You always talk about like Chase Higgins, Lamon Pickens, those type of guys, Pucca and Devontae. But no, we've got Matthew Golden. He's not quite there yet, but 15.7 points per game. He's right on the precipice of that WYB1 production. And listen, I was fading Golden, even awful rookie year. And typically, players who were series that perform as poorly as he did as a rookie do not end up being this good. But again, we saw it what 10 years ago with Devontae Adams. It does happen. There are outliers and he has gotten a lot better. He looks like an outlier. I am buying into Matthew Golden being better at football. Packers are past first offense now because they can't run the ball. Jordan loves Aaron and he is playing well. I am all in on these two receivers maintaining what they are doing the rest of the season. All right, Jason, now is a good time. Week six, matchups in a week. The quarterback we love, the quarterback we are fading. The floor is yours. All right, first on, we are starting Tyler Schuck at the local New York Giants. There are some really good starts this week and it doesn't really behoove anybody for me to tell you the star like Matt Stafford or the affirmation Jordan Lerner-Brock-Curdy, but no one's wondering whether to start those guys. After a week where Tyler Schuck barely scored more fantasy points than you, he had 96 goals yards and two interceptions. I do think that fantasy managers being a reactionary bunch, maybe a little hesitant to put him back in lineups to trust him. He's been really good most of the season. He had 22 plus fantasy points each of his first three before a middling but passable 15.9 against the Falcons and then he got shut down by Brian Flores. Everyone gets shut down by Brian Flores. I'm not holding that against him. The Saints cannot run the ball with their dynamic trio of Alvin Kamara, Kendrick Miller and CJ Donaldson. I think that we're going to have another high scoring game with the Giants here. Tell us how it goes in your lineup. We're in on Shuck and that's good for me. Sorry, Giants fans, I'm on New Orleans in this particular matchup. The quarterback we're going to fade in week six. I'm not full fade here and I am a huge supporter of Jaden Daniels, the fantasy quarterback and the real life quarterback. I like Jaden Daniels a lot, but let's prove why. Despite throwing for just 199 yards and failing to throw a touchdown, he still surpassed 30 fantasy points because he ran for a buck three and two touchdowns. But it's also a little cautionary tale because if the 49ers don't let him run the ball, I'm not sure the pass is going to be able to get there against a defense that's allowing the six fewest fantasy points per game to the position. It remains to be seen if LeHassifon digs back. I think he'll have Terry McLuhan. We'll see how healthy he is. He has yet to throw up 200 yards in a game. He's going to have to get there on the ground. I think that the 49ers are going to game plan to stop him. Though I'm not saying you've been shading Daniels, but he's more of a lower end QB1, high QB2 this week than the top five quarterback I had him before the season started. We don't love Daniels this week. Now we get to run it back. I know touch sledding, five weeks. I know the deal, but who do we like and who are we not in love with? That's really the better way to look at it. That's a perfect way to frame it because I really can't in good conscience talk about starts because they're really streamers at this point. You get past the top like 15 or so running backs and it all gets really ugly, really fast. But here's a guy who's been struggling lately. And I think fantasy managers may be souring on him. And I am too, but I think this week, you can be confident in Ashton Gentry. Let's not pretend he's been undeniable this season to the point where you're excited to start him. And there are probably teams out there that can sit him. I know I'm one of my teams. He's actually my RB4 based on how players have performed this year. In a more shallow league, I would be able to bench him. I'm not doing it. If the Raiders want to hang with the Bills, you're going to have to keep Josh Allen out of the field. That means finding ways to control the ball to extend drives. Of course, they're going to throw to Brock Bowers. But I think that they can really lean on Ashton Gentry here. The Bills are allowing the second most fantasy-point game to running backs. And what's really interested me this week in Gentry is the potential for his work in the receiving game. The Bills have seen opponents target running backs 21.8% of the time. That's the third highest rate in the league. They just allowed Tyron Williams, who is not exactly the pinnacle of receding back here, to rack up six receptions on Monday night. I think that Gentry and his 17.3% target share in the season is a good start this week. OK, we like Gentry. And who are we not in love with? We're not in love with Woody Marks. Of course, it is great news for Woody Marks managers that he is now locked into that RB1 role with David Montgomery out. Honestly, it was kind of trending that way anyway because Montgomery kind of just looks washed at this point. But the Jaguars are the worst batch of core running backs. They haven't allowed a single back to rush for 40 yards yet in the season. I mean, you think Woody Marks is the first guy to do it? I don't think so. They're allowing the third fewest Spanish points to running backs. The only way to really get by against them is to catch passes. They surrendered a 19.8 target share to the position. But despite Woody Marks being a great receiving back, the Texans have never used him that way. He has just a 7.6 percent target share on the season, and he hasn't caught more than two passes in a game since before week 10 of last year. So I think he maybe did it once this year, but in the starting roles, he hasn't done it at all. So I'm fading Woody Marks this week. Fading Woody Marks. Okay, last but not least, Jason, we hit the wide receiver position. All right. Against my better judgment here, I think this may be the week for the Bears wide receivers pending the return of Caleb Williams. Now, do we think Caleb was playing Sunday? Yeah, right? I did, because he's prepared in full, but he made a comment about how he needs doctors to clear him, and one wrinkle I didn't really account for earlier in the week is they played on Thursday. So there's definitely a chance they may want to hold him out and not have him play. They may want to hold him out for this game and have him for the Patriot game on Thursday. Exactly. When you come back off injury, you don't necessarily want him playing two games in essentially five days or four days. So I think there's a chance there. But if he comes back, through five games, Luther Burden, 11.2 points per game, not good. Adunza, even worse, 8.5 points per game. But again, they had to start with Case Keenum, two with Tyson Basian, one of which was a complete disaster. And the good news is Michael Penance is back for the Falcons. He's not going to miss any time here. He's going to start. So that creates a good game environment for them. And the Falcons are one of the league's premier pass funnel defenses. They allowed just 73.8 rushing yards per game. Bears don't have time. I think that Ben Johnson is too smart to just run the ball into Atlanta. Strength is going to throw the ball, and then lean on his two receivers. I hope that Luther Burden and Adunza can get there against a team allowing the six most points per game to wide receivers. Okay, in on a Chicago Baywide receiver. About damn time. What matchup will we not love it? We don't like Emeka Ibuka. Last week, very encouraging. Jalen Daniels' second start, there was a clear concerted effort to get the ball to their best receiver. Ibuka saw nine targets, he caught six of them. 17.2 fantasy points. That sounds great. I want to start this guy. Well, let's look at the bigger picture here. He only caught six of them for 38 yards. That is, as you might remember from your team, Jarvis Landry-esque in his performance there. Yes. Well played. Well played. So he got to YWC 1 numbers because he scored a 14-yard rushing touchdown. That's just the second carry of the season that is not predictable or repeatable, especially against the defense that's actually going to have professionals in the Pittsburgh Steelers, unlike my Dallas Cowboys who can't stop anybody. Daniels looked confident last week, but I think that's a skill issue unique to the Cowboys' embarrassingly bad pass defense. The Steelers allowed the eighth fewest points against wide receivers. I don't think Ibuka gets there this week. I think that Jalen Daniels is going to be running for like the entire game. This will be a disaster for the Bucs offense. Jason, outstanding as always, my man. PFN, check them out someday. All the comments, all the fantasy advice, all the help. We know where to find you. We'll see you for week seven next week. Look forward to it, buddy boy. Season always flies by fast. I look forward to it as well. We are moving and shaking. Good stuff there from Jason Katz over at PFN. And before I hit a couple of comments and before we hit Jeff Bunney and say goodbye, Ryan Fitzpatrick really went scorched earth on PhoneX. Tremendous. It's great TV. That's great TV. The other thing I wanted to bring up, we're going to do a lot of Nick preview in the next few days. We're going to have Mike Green on next week, which I'm looking forward to. Working on something that we might have on the Sunday show that we'll put in from a Nick perspective. We'll have our NBA over Unders, which I'm going to do on Sunday's pod. I'm going to look forward to that. It seems like with this roster, Bradley out looks like Wiseman is going to make the team. And if they want to keep Bruce Brown, they're going to have to move one of those young guys. Is that something they're going to do between now and the start of this year? Well, if they're going to want to keep Brown, they're going to have to do that. So as we kind of wait and see to like what the roster as a whole is going to look like outside of the starting five and the guys that you know are going to be a part of this bench, the Alvarados, the Drummins, the Deuce McBrides, the Landry Shamitz of the world. That's kind of where we're at as far as that last roster spot. Now, another thing I want to bring to your attention. I just created this Substack page, which I am very, very excited about. And I have to be honest, I'm new to Substack. I'm learning Substack. I am not going to pretend that I am some expert on it in any way. I'm not. But I'm going to have a lot of fun with it in a couple of different ways here. One, I'm going to be putting out something once a week and written for, which I've never really done. I do a column in a bunch of the local newspapers that comes out once a week, but this is not even going to be a column per cent. This is going to be like a stream of consciousness, whatever's on my mind type deal. I'm trying to figure out what exactly it looks like, but there's so much cool stuff on there. I want to be on it. I'm going to do it. So I think you guys are going to like this. So check out my substack page. Check out the Underscore substack page. And the other thing I want to bring your attention is we are going to sound myself and me from time to time as well. We're going to do some interactions with you guys on the substack page. Well, literally we just let it rip, you know, like right now, obviously, we've been live on YouTube for the last hour. And you know, we've done this on our YouTube shows. But like, I'm talking like straight out Q&A's substack rock and roll after we go live on YouTube. Join us, get in the room, and we'll just let it rip. That will be what we do. It will be like our show and then the show after the show. Wanting you to be a part of it. So check out our substack page on Underscore Media, Underscore New York, mine, John Jastremski and away you go. So we're gonna have some really cool stuff coming up on substack in the days, any weeks and the months ahead. Now, a bunch of comments I want to get to. Michael, Denver should have lost the last couple of games. They should have lost the last couple of games. I give them credit for finding ways. But what I would say is, what they're doing is not sustainable. It's not sustainable. Like, Bohnick's playing the position the way he's playing the position. If you think you're going and winning multiple playoff games like that, you got another thing coming. This one from Kyle, develop baseball players who play the game right, not exit below launch angle, beer league softball players. Hey, to the Milwaukee Brewers' credit, they've done exactly that. There's accountability with their manager. They have defined roles within the team. They know what they are as an offense. They have some guys with some pop. Even though their home run numbers were down in the National League, they hit them in this series. I mean, is anybody going to argue that? This one from Adam, if anything, baseball needs a four, not a cap. I think you're on to something now. This one from John and Maspeth, let's go Brew Crew. Yankees don't give a shit about you or me. Well, that's probably right. This one from Busted Playbook, you're off base, the run game has zero juice. This will help if they show RPO one time. I think that is in reference to JJ McCorthy and the idea of him getting some burn in some of these packages, which by the way, I don't like. This one from Glenn, both secondaries are hella flawed, thinking over all day. Got to clear the weather. I actually think shockingly we may have a decent weather day on a Sunday in New York. What a concept. A game at MetLife Stadium where it is not going to be 30-mile-an-hour winds and rain. Great place to start. So maybe that is conducive to you're over. Katz all over shook this week. Telling you that line makes no sense. Vegas doesn't like to hand out free money. Giants get points. Smell the rat. Just remember I said that going in. Smell the rat. As far as the Jets going in this matchup, I will not be betting the Jet Patriot game because the line has now moved to points, which has me second-guessing the idea of taking the Patriots, but I don't need to read you the laundry list of Patriot-Jet games over the years. The Jets have not shown me enough for me to firmly believe that I'm going to win this game. Go prove me wrong. Go shut me up. That's the opportunity that's in front of them. Now, before we say goodbye, he's ready to go. The great Jeff Money, week six, Money, man. What do we got? Time's flying by. I was against you with the Broncos today. Sweat that one out, but it was pitiful. Yeah, you sure did. Listen, your quarterback did everything in his power to not cover the number, but then Sam Donnell said, hold my beer. I got you. So good for you, Jeff Money. That's it. We got that one. So as far as the game, my money play this week, I'm going to go with the Patriots minus the seven and a half over the Jets. I just threw out the trends with them throughout the years, and just the way the Patriots been playing, I know with the injury tap, I put that as my money play this week for the Patriots. My underdog play, I hate taking this team, but I had to find an underdog play. I want to take in the charges plus the eight over the Chiefs. I get where you're going. Division came on the road, Chiefs coming off a buy, maybe could be a little sloppy. Chargers is such a hot mess, Jeff Money. I need like vindication in them covering a number before I can go to the window and bet them. Does that make sense? No, I hear you. I'm not betting the Chiefs on Sunday, but I'm not necessarily going out of my way to bet the Chargers. Oh, I hear you. I heard you try to find an underdog player. I was the one I found. And the other play I like, I know you don't like it. I like the Colts minus to seven over the Titans. The Titans are just horrific. I know it's a divisional game, but I just didn't take in the Colts there minus to seven on that one. Well, listen, the Colts have had their way with Tennessee recently, so I get that. But this Colt offense, Lane, Marge and Jeff Money, you feel good about that? I don't love it. I didn't love this week's card. It's a very difficult, you know what? You're honest up with that. I loved the card last week. Oh yeah. I loved it. Now, some was good, some was bad. This week, I went into it saying, man, I'm going to have a hard time getting three games. Real hard time. Even overall, I won a little bit for the week last week, but as far as I played, I was one and two, six and nine. You had a fantastic. You went three and oh, and you're eight and seven. Well, we're back with a vengeance, which is good, but we got a lot more work to do. We want to stay over that 500 mark. So, at least when I heads up in any of these games, we can root for you. That's right. We can root for each other. It's not even a match that works out. Hopefully, it'll be a three and oh week for both of us. We shall see. That's the idea, Jeff Money. So, you are on New England, you are on Indy, and then you are on the dog play. It is a gross one. The Los Angeles Chargers. I'll have to close my eyes. Hey, listen, if it covers, that's all that matters. All right, buddy boy. Exactly. We'll see you next week. That's Jeff Money. I can't fight them on the Patriot play. I mean, how many times will we watch the Jets and the Patriots play these games at Foxboro and we know how it goes? And you get Gonzalez back and you get AJ Brown back. But hey, listen, spice it up here. I'd love to see the Jets go into a New England win this game. Love to see it. But based upon what I saw against Cleveland, that's going to leave me in the direction of thinking that's going to be the case. I don't think so. Not for me at least.
