Jaxon Smith-Njigba remains No. 1: The Seattle Seahawks receiver leads wide receivers with at least 30 receiving snaps in yards per route run. Justin Jefferson holds the No. 2 spot: The Minnesota Vikings receiver caught two passes for 32 yards before leaving Week 3 with an ankle injury. Like our weekly quarterback rankings, these have some priors built in, so they aren’t simply a list of the highest-graded players at the position. The Week 1 and Week 2 lists were based heavily on PFF’s preseason wide receiver rankings, as we didn’t want to make significant adjustments based on extremely small sample sizes. We will continue to adjust the rankings throughout the year, giving increasingly more weight to 2026 performance as the season progresses. Here are the rankings heading into Week 4 of the NFL season. 1. Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Seattle Seahawks Smith-Njigba remains the most efficient high-volume receiver in football, leading all wide receivers with at least 30 receiving snaps with 4.35 yards per route run. 2. Justin Jefferson, Minnesota Vikings Jefferson was on the field for just three receiving snaps before leaving Sunday’s game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with an ankle injury, but he still managed to catch two passes for 32 yards. While questions remain about whether he will play this week, he appears to have avoided a long-term injury. 3. Ja'Marr Chase, Cincinnati Bengals Chase delivered another big performance in the Bengals’ loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday, catching nine passes for 98 yards and a touchdown on 12 targets. After a slow start in Week 1 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, he has now caught all 18 catchable passes thrown his way over the past two weeks. 4. Amon-Ra St. Brown, Detroit Lions St. Brown struggled in Sunday’s win over the New York Jets, catching four passes for just 19 yards on eight targets. He also recorded his first drop of the season but did find the end zone. Through three weeks, he trails only Chris Olave and Jaxon Smith-Njigba in targets. 5. CeeDee Lamb, Dallas Cowboys Lamb had another strong showing against the Baltimore Ravens in Brazil on Sunday afternoon, turning eight targets into seven receptions for 112 yards. Through three weeks, he ranks fourth among wide receivers with at least 30 receiving snaps in yards per route run (3.22). 6. Chris Olave, New Orleans Saints Olave has had a phenomenal start to the 2026 season, trailing only Jaxon Smith-Njigba with 375 receiving yards through three weeks. His 90.2 PFF receiving grade is tied for the league's fourth-best, and he has seen 29.4% of the Saints’ targets so far this season. 7. Drake London, Atlanta Falcons After dealing with the worst quarterback play in the NFL over the first two weeks of the season, London exploded on Thursday Night Football with competent play from Michael Penix Jr. His 3.81 yards per route run trails only Jaxon Smith-Njigba among wide receivers with at least 30 receiving snaps. 8. DeVonta Smith, Philadelphia Eagles Much of the preseason hype centered on what DeVonta Smith could do as the focal point of the Eagles’ passing game, and he has delivered so far in 2026. His 90.2 PFF receiving grade is tied for fourth among wide receivers, and Smith has turned 26 targets into 19 receptions for 235 yards and a touchdown. 9. Zay Flowers, Baltimore Ravens Flowers returned to action for the Ravens in Week 3 and was on a pitch count but still led the team in receiving yards. So far this season, he ranks 11th among wide receivers in receiving yards despite being tied for 117th with just 25 routes run. Among the 75 wide receivers with at least 10 targets this season, Flowers’ 9.36 yards per route run is 5.01 yards better than the next-best mark at the position. 10. Parker Washington, Jacksonville Jaguars Washington saw just four targets in Sunday’s win over the New England Patriots but made the most of them, picking up 40 yards and a touchdown. So far this season, he has averaged 2.91 yards per route run, and his 90.5 PFF receiving grade ranks third at the position. 11. George Pickens, Dallas Cowboys After a slow start over the first two weeks, Pickens had his best game of 2026 in the loss to the Baltimore Ravens. He turned 10 targets into seven receptions for 82 yards and earned a 77.3 PFF receiving grade, with all four marks representing season highs. 12. Jaylen Waddle, Denver Broncos It has been a strange start to the season for Jaylen Waddle, with the Broncos receiver posting a 138-yard game sandwiched between outings of 2 and 10 receiving yards. He was targeted seven times against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday Night Football but caught just two passes for 10 yards, with one incompletion coming on a drop. 13. Tee Higgins, Cincinnati Bengals Higgins hauled in his first touchdown reception of the season on Sunday and is averaging 17.4 yards per catch through three weeks. It is still very early, but the Bengals’ No. 2 receiver is on pace for a career year. 14. Davante Adams, Los Angeles Rams With Puka Nacua out of the lineup, Adams has become the focal point of the Rams’ offense, tying for fourth among wide receivers with 29 targets so far this season. His 3.41 yards per route run trails only Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Drake London among wide receivers with at least 30 receiving snaps. 15. Terry McLaurin, Washington Commanders McLaurin struggled through the first two weeks of the season but had his best game of the year in the Commanders’ win over the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday. On 31 receiving snaps, he turned nine targets into six receptions for 77 yards and a touchdown. 16. Mike Evans, San Francisco 49ers Evans suffered a rib injury against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday afternoon but could still play this week. Through the first three weeks of the season, he has averaged 2.45 yards per route run, catching 12 passes for 137 yards and two touchdowns. 17. Tetairoa McMillan, Carolina Panthers After a strong first two games of the season against the Chicago Bears and Atlanta Falcons, McMillan was kept quiet against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday afternoon. On 48 receiving snaps, he caught just two passes for 17 yards on four targets. 18. Christian Watson, Green Bay Packers Watson ranks fifth in the NFL in receiving yards and third among wide receivers in touchdowns through the first three weeks. If he stays healthy, he is on pace for a career year in receiving yards and could surpass his previous career high by midseason. 19. Garrett Wilson, New York Jets Given how Geno Smith is playing at quarterback, Garrett Wilson looks poised for a career year if the first three weeks are any indication. On the field for 107 receiving snaps, Wilson has racked up 243 yards and two touchdowns on 21 receptions without a drop. 20. Malik Nabers, New York Giants Nabers saw six targets against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday but had an average depth of target of just one yard. With Jameis Winston in the lineup as the Giants’ starting quarterback following Jaxson Dart’s injury, it is fair to wonder whether Nabers will see enough quality targets to have the type of season he is capable of. 21. Jameson Williams, Detroit Lions Williams had his best game of the season Sunday against the New York Jets, but the fact that he totaled just 49 receiving yards highlights how slow his start to the year has been. The good news is that after dropping a pass in each of the first two games of the season, he caught all four passes thrown his way in Week 3. 22. Jalen Coker, Carolina Panthers Coker left Sunday’s loss to the Cleveland Browns with a quad injury, but it does not appear to be as serious as initially feared, and he could make a quick return to the lineup. He ranks 16th at the position with 2.44 yards per route run through the first three weeks of the season. 23. Ladd McConkey, Los Angeles Chargers McConkey’s 2.54 yards per route run ranks 12th among wide receivers so far this season. Justin Herbert’s top target has caught 12 passes for 183 yards on 72 routes run. McConkey has been playing through a rib injury but still managed to record 66 yards on four catches in the loss to the Buffalo Bills. 24. Matthew Golden, Green Bay Packers Golden continues to be productive in the Packers’ offense, ranking seventh among wide receivers with 253 receiving yards through the first three weeks of the season. He racked up 100 yards and a touchdown on five receptions against the Atlanta Falcons on Thursday Night Football but has also dropped a pass in each of the first three games. 25. Rashee Rice, Kansas City Chiefs Rice has benefited from Patrick Mahomes’ return to form and ranks 25th at the position with 2.04 yards per route run. He has forced three missed tackles on receptions through the first three weeks of the season, tied for sixth among wide receivers. 26. D.K. Metcalf, Pittsburgh Steelers Metcalf didn’t drop a pass in Week 3 after dropping three over the first two weeks of the season, but it was another quiet game for the Steelers’ wide receiver. On the field for 37 receiving snaps, he caught just three passes for 31 yards but did find the end zone for the first time this season. 27. Stefon Diggs, Washington Commanders The change at quarterback for the Commanders didn’t reduce Diggs’ opportunities in Week 3, as he saw seven targets from Marcus Mariota. He turned them into four receptions for 33 yards and has earned a 72.6 PFF receiving grade through the first three weeks of the season. 28. Jakobi Meyers, Jacksonville Jaguars Meyers had his best game of the season in Sunday’s win over the New England Patriots, turning eight targets into seven receptions for 64 yards and a touchdown. Parker Washington is likely to remain Jacksonville‘s top target, but Meyers has been an excellent secondary option. 29. Courtland Sutton, Denver Broncos Sutton had his best game of the season in the win over the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday Night Football but still managed just three receptions for 46 yards. There were some encouraging signs, but it has still been a concerningly slow start to the season for Sutton in Denver. 30. Dontayvion Wicks, Philadelphia Eagles Wicks has been an excellent addition as the Eagles’ No. 2 wide receiver, but the Monday Night Football loss to the Chicago Bears was his worst performance of the season. Targeted four times, he caught two passes for 32 yards and dropped one. 31. Josh Downs, Indianapolis Colts With Alec Pierce sidelined by injury, Downs saw 10 targets in the Colts’ win over the Houston Texans, catching all of his catchable targets for 77 yards. Through the first three weeks of the season, he has not dropped a pass and is averaging 1.96 yards per route run. 32. Michael Wilson, Arizona Cardinals After a slow start to the season, Wilson saw a whopping 16 targets in the Cardinals’ loss to the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday afternoon, turning them into 11 receptions for 89 yards and a touchdown. He has not dropped a pass this season and has earned a 71.4 PFF receiving grade.
